Black and Pink DS Lites

During the dark period of time a couple months when I had no money and had to sell my AES collection to survive, I sold my original DS Lite (:crying: ). So, I reserved a black one. I'm so stoked on this! I can't wait!

Anybody else planning on getting one of these?

I have a white one already. Probably going to sell that, buy a black one for myself, and a pink one for my girlfriend. Strange, I like the white PSP better than the black one, and I like the black DS better than the white one. Go figure.....

White DS Lite>Black DS Lite

We have them both here as standard in the UK, the black one never even slightly tempted me, looks kinda tacky IMO..

I prefer the white PSP too but only had the chance of a black one at time of launch and noway near play the PSP enough to warrent buying another.

I noticed the two little nubs on the back of my white DS turning a light shade of yellow. I am not sure if I am putting my fingers on the nubs or not or how that happened. I am thinking about getting the black one to avoid this problem.

Yeah, those rubber feet on white DS Lites discolor really easily.

I don't think the black DS Lite looks tacky at all... Quite opposite, to me. I think they look really sharp. Oh well, to each their own.

I was going to get a black one but after seeing how dirty my black PSP loox all the time and how clean the white DS Lite loox, i think i'll stick w/ the white one. Eventually i'll score a white PSP also. I like the clean brite look of white over the dark colors.

Know any way to clean the nubs to fix the discoloring?

VERY true, playing games that require you to extensively use the dpad (AKA not locoRoco) leave the psp looking like shit. I've never dealt with a white system b4, but the ds lite looks nice in white. :)

Getting my "onyx" one launch day. I've always been pretty biased towards black for systems. Although I like silver for cars. I still don't know which color I will get for the PS3...I guess whichever one I can get my hands on, if any!

prefer the black one, the white one you can see the retarded 2mm thick layer of plastic on the outside, plus the squares on top of the lid dont look right because of the clear plastic again.

the black one looks loads better in every aspect.

My midnight blue DS Lite > all other colours :buttrock:

She wants a pink one when they are released to replace her aging oldstyle pink DS.I bet they look like strawberry ice cream.

I have an import Ice Blue and USA white DS Lite. I pre ordered the Pink DS Lite for my wife to replace her import pink old style DS.

Just picked up a black DS lite for me and a Pinky for my girlfriend. Got the first black and pink sold today from the Nintendo store:) and one of the first sold in the city:) I am such a geek.......

They told me at the Nintendo store that they got them a day or two before the other electronic retail chains. Haven't opened the black one yet, but the Pink looks really nice and my gf loves it. It is strange, I like the white PSP better, and the black DS better.....

I got one of those automated voice messages from EBGames but it said, "This is a message from EBGames..." and then said nothing. I checked the message a few times with good reception so I know it wasn't my phone. I ended up having to call the store I preordered mine at and ask them what was the deal. They said I could come get my tomorrow, the 12th. Yay.

Yeah, I have a black one on hold which should be ready tomorrow. I almost feel bad since this will be my first US Nintendo handheld since gamboy! I had an import white GBA (bought local at a store that only sold imports [weird]. Always meant to go back and import a black one but never did), import black SP (before black came to the US), and an import black DS (I can't stand that platinum painted crap).

I was going to get an EU black one but held off to see if Japan would get them. I was all ready to import one from JP when they announced the US ones, so I figured I'd wait. It's only a few more days and was like $50 cheaper :P

Finally got around to opening up the black DS Lite. All I can say is wow this is beautiful. I was comparing the White, Pink, and Black, and I would definitely have to say that all three colors look really good. However, the white has a much more childish feel to it. The black has a much more distinguished look and feels almost regal. I would have to say that I am liking the black a bit more. GF is loving the pink. Great color for girls, and will definitely sell a ton.
