CPS3 Battery Replacement ... The best way?

Today I’m going to swap the battery on a New Gen cart.

Just wanted to get some opinions from people on which method of battery replacement is the best (please speak from experience).

Powered on cps3 system, vs Helper Battery.

Any explanations as to why one is better than the other will be helpfull for making a decision.

That said I’ll let everyone know how things go, wish me luck

CPS3

If I tried another next generation battery swap I would go the board powered on option, the reason I would go this method is I tried the battery helper method and I was extremely careful....... but I now have a dead next generation cart..

So take your chance and good luck....

We did the powered on method and it worked ;p

also I see that meanbean is no longer doing cps3 battery swaps.

Perhaps my local guy will pickup his business. He does things in an official electronics lab.

pm for details.
