i know this may be jumping the gun but,
i just picked up the game&watch ds game that was sent out to nintendo city members(or what ever it is called)

i also have a bunch of demo games also, the (just instore demos, that say "not for re-sale")coolest being a zelda twilight promo chip/cart (there is one going on ebay right now for $125, i wouldnt pay that much for it), all it has on it are a few of the .avis you find to download on fileplanet and so forth.

i dont even know where to start the list so if someone can get this ball rolling it would rock!

thanks

i just reread this and it doesnt make much sense, i will edit it tommorow, but it hopefully gets out the idea. time for bed.

The only retail game that may be rare soon is Electroplankton, since it was a Nintendo-store only item. Other than that every other title is fairly easy to find.

This ones easy to find in the UK as it was released everywhere and is part of our Touch Generations marketing campaign. Had to find titles might be Lost in Blue over here seems very limited, maybe Lunar Legend and to a lesser extent Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow.

Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center are still a bit of a bitch to find, but not exactly rare... I'd say those two and Electroplankton are the hardest to find.

What about Ouendan?

Isn't Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney rare as well? I heard once it got the E3 editors choice people were buying it up like nothing else. I haven't seen it in a long time. Thankfully, I got my copy from a friend. Great game.

It has been re released 2-3 times now. So, it has be hard to find at different times since its release. However, it is not really a rare game IMO. If they wouldn't have re released it, it would be very rare.

EDIT: I could see Point Blank DS becoming rare. It wasn't released in large numbers from what I read. However, there may not be much of a demand for the game. (I think it is fantastic though)

There probably aren't any rare games on DS yet, let alone, ten of them. Castlevania is kind of uncommon... That's about all I can think of...

Agreed Gameoz. It's a great little game to play in short spurts, like 10-15 minutes. I bet multiplayer is fantastic but I haven't had the chance to try it that way yet.

DS is still too new to have rare games.

Incidentally, I picked mine up new at a local Gamestop.

I can't imagine any production DS games being truly rare in the sense that if you're willing to pay, someone is willing to sell. It's easy enough to find most of these if you don't mind paying a premium.

Store / press demo carts and such are another story though, IMO.

i agree that it may be too early to tell, but with the nice cases they come in and some fairly nice 2d stuff its very collectable.
i recieved the web browser from lik-sang today, its pretty nice, its very easy to use also the touch screen doubles as a keyboard.
its set up in th qwerty scheme. there are alot of personal use applications coming out for it also, there is a english to japanese and vice versa cart out for 19.98$ us on lik-sang.

what about nanostray? (i think thats the correct name)
can not wait until i recieve my cardfighters though!

Yes, Point Blank multi-player is fantastic. It was a nice feature to add the single card multi-player play. I have probably played more multi-player than I have single.

Well, i heard they were going to re-release them again soon.

I really don't think there are rare games on the DS yet. Maybe some day, some special edition or something.

Texas Hold 'Em Poker Pack by Summitsoft is extremely uncommon and looks as if it may be a very rare one. (This is a different game than the Crave Hold 'Em game) Just looking at completed listings on ebay, there are only four of them. And no active listings currently. You will be hard pressed to find any game for DS with fewer hits.

I saw it the other day at an EB by my house. It was probably just a temporary thing that they were at the nintendo store.

Take that!

I picked up Phoenix Wright two weeks ago as I was lttp for that one, man, I really should have picked this up when it came out. After playing the first case I really wanted to kick myself in the face for passing this one up, what a brilliant little game. Some funny dialogue, enjoyable characters, and decent use of the touch screen (even though you don't really need it to play "most of" the game unlike the mic functions, but it's there). Wish it was longer, but really, I can't wait for the sequel.

Justice For All - day 1 purchase for me.

For unique DS software that you might have missed earlier, I highly recommend going to ncsx or playasia and picking up one of the represses. And support the US sequel coming out, okay, pal?!

I got Phoenix Wright, Trauma Center, Elektroplankton, and Castlevania when they came out. Phoenix Wright was pretty expensive on ebay for awhile, but I guess they churned out some more copies like they did with Gitaroo Man, Persona 2, etc. I guess these companies realize there is a big aftermarket demand, and so they just capitalize on it since they don't care about the aftermarket value. Oh, well...

Why are people debating this. DS is a new system.
