I am dicking around with the neo emulator for the psp.
And I know there isnt sound on some of the games.
But looking at the faq info that came with the download section. It looks like it does work as there was at least plans for a audio buffer that was seperate from the game file buffer. Can anybody make anything of this?
Here is the faq. (small portion of it to prove my point.)
kizuna 39184 KB ( 38.3 MB) NOT WORK (-19.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
pulstar 40208 KB ( 39.3 MB) NOT WORK (-20.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
(Pulstar works with sound but still needs a cache file for the actual files with is the one I know about and is standard.)
ninjamas 42256 KB ( 41.3 MB) NOT WORK (-22.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
ragnagrd 43280 KB ( 42.3 MB) NOT WORK (-23.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
blazstar 44304 KB ( 43.3 MB) NOT WORK (-24.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
mslug2 44304 KB ( 43.3 MB) NOT WORK (-24.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
rbff1 44304 KB ( 43.3 MB) NOT WORK (-24.5 MB) NO SOUND ( -0.5 MB)
shocktro 44304 KB ( 43.3 MB) NOT WORK (-24.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
shocktra 44304 KB ( 43.3 MB) NOT WORK (-24.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
kof96h 46352 KB ( 45.3 MB) NOT WORK (-26.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
kof96 46352 KB ( 45.3 MB) NOT WORK (-26.5 MB) ----------- (----- MB)
samsho4 48400 KB ( 47.3 MB) NOT WORK (-28.5 MB) NO SOUND ( -0.5 MB)
sengoku3 49424 KB ( 48.3 MB) NOT WORK (-29.5 MB) NO SOUND ( -1.5 MB)
I tried sengoku 3 which works and doesnt have sound. But there seems to be Cache indicated by the second column for sound with a 1.5 megs beside it perhaps indicating that you can get sound if you have the 1.5 megs allocated space to buffer it.
So my question is. Can I get sound if I enable a sound buffer as I dont have one right now. And if so, how can I get that sound buffer? Or the tool to do it?
And if there is no such thing as a sound buffer. Then why is it in the faq that was released with this download?
Thx for your time.
