I've gotten several questions regarding what is wrong with the XBox 360, so for those of you yet to ask, here's the deal:

I received one of the launch XBox 360's for Christmas last year which started acting up about six months later. It would boot up fine, then lock up after about 20 minutes or so. Over the next two days, less and less time would pass between boot-up and lock-up until three days later I got the "red ring of death".

I did call Microsoft to see about having it sent in for repair but, as luck would have it, my warranty had expired two weeks earlier. They quoted me $159 incl. return shipping to repair any problem. I decided instead to just purchase a new system from Gamestop, along with their extended replacement plan.

Since Gamestop didn't have any core systems in stock at the time, I bought a deluxe version. I am still using my old hard drive since it was working fine, and the 20 GB HD that came with the new system is still in the box, unused and good as new.

The system as listed above includes everything else (cabling, power supply, wireless controller), but DOES NOT INCLUDE the HD. I am selling that separately since it is essentially brand new.

I hope that makes things a little clearer. If you folks have any other questions, though, feel free to send me a PM. Thanks! :buttrock:
