VGMWorld emailed me today and said they will be stocking the Metal slug CD collection as well with an extra. they also have a picture up of the box

this is also a cool item i picked up, comes with a fighters history tournament DVD and the game soundtrack. the cd is designed to look like a Neo CD and the inside of the insert is a cart layout.

geez it's about $15 a CD. used to be there was no way you could buy this stuff. Just drop a class or something :)

Totally worth it just to hear those awesome tunes from MS4.

MS1, MSX, MS6, etc. are also nice bonuses.

I'll grab that and the new Samurai Spirits soundtrack when I get the chance.

The top site (VGMWorld.com) was already OUT OF STOCK =(.

I searched the web and Play-Asia still had them In Stock!!:chimp:

Yay my copy arrived today !

Ordered it on 5.9. at VGMWorld , then got a email that they were already sold out, and i just could get one - if someone cancels his order... so i am a lucky happy slugger now

all I wanna know is, does this CD Soundtrack include the awesome song for Metal Slug 4 that was on the official MS4 website but wasnt included in the dang game? I loved that song and bought MS4 on AES and was so pissed off that the 1 song I wanted to hear was not in the game!

This Sound Box's outer box reminds me a bit of M.A.S.H

Nice news, it's always good to have music from different games, which don't usually get soundtrack releases.

I can never see myself putting a MS soundtrack in my car's CD player.
With this series, the music's only good to listen to when you're actually playing the games, and I can't imagine spending that much money on it.

That Zuntata Darius soundbox, on the other hand...I'm a little interested in that.

The final track on CD Japan's track listing says "Unused Tune," but I don't know what it is, since I don't plan on getting this set.

At the bottom of the page;

That unused track was named as "MS3D_STAGE08.afs" within the MS3D PS2 game data. However, it was never used in mission 8 or any other missions. It's just one of those unused things that they never took out during the development. Or it might have been that there was an extra level that was being planned but it never made it out.
