Anyone have a verified source that has the molded cables with the longer end on them to fit into the AES ports? I would rather not have to shave them down.

Atleast 6 foot extension and actually 10 foot would be better.

Searched the forum first and seems all the old suppliers either dried up or it isn't clear if they are mold plastic ended or metal case style.

The shop here in Barcelona I used to buy them from ran out of stock and they never restock although I've asked for them several times... they were 1.5-1.8 m long with the end made of rubber and costed 6€ each.

If enough people is interested I might try to contact the supplier directly, as most likely I'd need to order at least 25.

I was in the same boat as you...

All my local stores stopped carrying DB15 cables.
CompUSA, Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc.
They told me it was old technology...

I finally found a seller on eBay that had a bunch of 10' DB15 cables
for sale, a 20 pack. The good news is that he had a buy-it-now,
and I bought them all, and they fit the AES port perfect.

I used 12 of them to create my custom cabinet,
and the other 8, I used as extension cables for my 4 AES systems.

Your best bet is eBay, but they are really hard to find.
Here a Link, not sure if they will work,
but you can get 6 cables for $2.99 (6' extension cable).
Do a search on eBay, you might find more.

Yeah, they also told me at my shop they were totally outdated and they are quite right... Most likely I was basically the only one buying them for a while. The funny thing is that they still have some "controller bifurcators", that have a male end and 2 female ends, but are useless because they have half of the pins each wired. Of course nobody buys them.

10 FT with a perfect fit? That's a NICE score!
I believe INTEREX needs no shaving down. It's been awhile since I purchased that brand and manufacturers tend to change their design so don't hold me to this. Maybe I will purchase one and confirm. I remember there was one cable that omitted a couple of connections from the cord so be careful and avoid them.

Yeah, the trick to getting those wholesale is to buy a bunch, but you want to know whether or not they are the right ones first.

I bought OSG's supply at a local closeout, and bought a rather large number.

No, I'm not looking to wholesale them out. =)

I remember purchasing my pair at COMP USA, this way I could return them if they were twelve pin cables masquerading as fifteen pin :D
