So I shattered my right wrist and fractured my spine recently tumbling down a gigantic stairwell and am trying to find things to do to stave off boredom. I'm right-handed so I am having a hell of a time doing things with my non-dominant hand. Thanks to the DS, I can play even with just my left hand. Mostly BrainAge and a little animal crossing, but it's better than staring at the TV all day. ^_^ WarioWare is touch screen only too, right? Any other games you can think that only need the touch screen?

Doh sorry to hear about that. Damn staircases always getting in the way!

The Wario collection is touch screen only and a blast to play, and Nintendogs is touch screen/voice activated. Advance Wars DS is all touch to (I think) if you are into turn based strategy games.

Most of the mini games on SMB64/New Super Mario Bros. are touch screen too, but you have to play the regular game to unlock them.

Jesus Christ... how did this happen? Get well soon misshotback!

Hmmm games that only use touchscreen, well there is Meteos, that's a puzzle game, it's easy to pick up, but different planets have different physics so part of the fun is figuring that out, Kirby Canvas Curse also uses the touchscreen only, Magnetica is touch screen only, but frankly it's not that engaging a puzzle, Zoo Keeper is better.

I just had surgery on Tuesday, I had a plate put in my forearm to set the bones, there was so much damage that it wouldn't set on its own or with pins . . . sucks because i just bought 5 more MVS games a few days before the accident. I forgot about Meteos and Zoo Keeper, I am going to pull those out and Advance Wars too.

I've got maybe 5 or 6 weeks till I can drive again, we'll see what the doc says on Monday. I made my roommate download and play the Ninenty-Nine Nights and Dead Rising demos for 360 because I wanted to check them out, looking forward to recovery and playing more games!

Promise us you'll hold onto the rails when you approach stairwells, and walk, don't run down stairs, from now on :emb:

yeah there was no guard rail and no working light in the stairwell, not cool. I wasn't even drunk, just unlucky and a little clumsy. Fortunately my wrist took the brunt of the damage and not my neck or something :emb:

Ouch.

Trauma Center is %100 touch screen gameplay, but that would be very intensive for odd hand play. Alot of people would probably die!

I haven't played Electroplankton yet, but I hear that is a very interesting musical game, it might even be therapeutic to you.

Also, if you're into some rhythm games, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and Band Brothers are pretty cool, I love both, these 2 games are import only though.

Well, you should be able to take legal action on the place for the condition of the stairwell. This also brings me to my game suggestion....Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney.

Yes, I second Electroplankton.

Advance Wars DS may not be your cup of tea, but the war theme is almost invisible to me: just the strategy element is outstanding, and the card has hours and hours of gameplay on it. If you get into it, I guarantee you won't need another DS game for months.
