Hi all,

I just received some Metal Slug MVS carts and I was just checking them out making sure they're legit. The one that I'm questioning is a Metal Slug 3 with what looks like a genuine label. It's got the hologram running through it and serials. When I opened it up, I noticed all the chips said something like 256-V1 or 256-V2. None say Toshiba and none are EEPROMS. I probably wouldn't have thought anything of it, but when I boot it up, it doesn't show the Neo Geo spinning startup logo, but everything else seems to work fine. I don't have pics right now, but I can put some up later tonight. But does this sound like a questionable cart?

Thanks,
Scott

Sounds OK to me

Later Neo releases do not have the start up logo and jingle, that is normal for MS3
