What a bitch that was! But it was worth it. A big red cab is heavier than it looks.

Looks so much better up here than in the garage! I'm gonna be playing a lot more neo from now on.

I have to bring home my two slot big red cab one of these days and I'm NOT looking forward to carrying it up the stairs :oh_no: ..I'm going to be doing most of the lifting.

If I can find my camera any time soon I'll take a picture. But just imagine a big red cabinet and there you go.

Oh, and my CPO is Santa Clause. Merry Christmas Ho.

I feel your pain...I was procrastinating doing this for a while.

Oh and also, I found out there were more nobs in the back of the monitor than I had previously though, my display is now much nicer than it was before. Thats what inspired me to move it.

Alright, time for slug x and baseball stars... or maybe sidekicks 2 or KOF 98. Good thing its a 4 slot...lol.

yeah I feel your pain. I've dealt with moving big reds and such. I just bought a converted naomi which used to be a dedicated soul edge (25" namco w/ side speakers). It's bulkier than big reds. as cool as it is, it's a bitch to move and I just about killed myself getting it out of my van by myself.

I'll be doing the very same soon. I'm moving out once again and I'm taking my cab with me this time (it's been at my parent's for the last year).

I'll have to take it up two flights of stairs and then try and get it into my new place. I'm really not looking forward to this.

I can already feel my lower back tensing up.:(

fucking pussies. Try a 1300 pound 9 foot pool table up a flight of stairs in the winter.

But in all seriousness, be carefull, and use a good dolly. ;)

WTF? Why? I'd be afraid of dying.

Ever since I fucked my groin I haven't been doing too much lifting. Just remember, if you try to do too much it'll hurt like a mother.

Big Reds are a Nightmare..

I remember taking my big red (MV-4-29) up three flights of stairs to my apartment, with a dolly that had a bottom shelf entirely too short to stay under the cabinet, it was murder. I'm dreading moving and having to lug that thing back down those three flights in one piece.

That's murder. I have a big dedicated SamSho III cab that's sitting in storage because I moved to a third floor apartment. I remember when I picked it up originally, the freight bill said 450 pounds. Screw that.

The Neo 29 I bought on Saturday weighs less than half that and it was murder going up all three flights on a small dolly with hard plastic wheels. Worst of all, we're moving to a second floor apartment next month, so I get to go down three, then up two again. It's the size of a washing machine (roughly), but weighs as much as a fridge. I'm getting too old for this shit.

If i get a cabinet, i'll have to move it about 6foot from the front door to my bedroom. And no stairs.

Wankers.

I am so not looking forward to my move next week. I am getting a bigger place so I can have a dedicated home theater/game room...

Gotta move all these up 2 sets of stairs.

Those are some sweet cabs man. The Astro City shouldn't be too bad, but I feel for you on those full size machines. My back hurts just thinking about lugging three of those upstairs.

Going downstairs seems like its gonna be a lot harder than going up. When its time for me to move I think I'm just gonna say goodbye to the cab and push that bitch out the window.

What i find works best for moving cabs down stairs is an appliance dolley. Uhaul rents them for $10. You can honestly move cabs down stairs with 1 person, although 2 makes it easier.

What cab is that all the way on the left? Is that a dedicated cab of sorts or a custom paint job?

Thanks, I'll try to remember that, hopefully I won't have to use that info for a long while.
