I dont know resOglas, it kinda does if I hit a button on it 4 times but the picture is wobbly, it could be due to my Panasonic TV as the device is meant for Plasmas and LCDs and Projectors, it doesnt say anywhere about CRT HDTVs. It may be because of the signal the Neo-Geo outputs I just dont know, either way I bought it just to play Neo-Geo games in 1080i and I didnt get what I wanted out of it. It was neat to play ALL the PS2 games in 480Progressive scan though. Sadly my WS HDTV only accepts 480p and 1080i. I need to get a new one before PS3 hits.

How noticeable is the difference between, say, a PS2 game that natively supports 480p and a PS2 game upconverted to 480p? On of my pet peeves is that playing games at 480i on my projector kind've has a motion-blur effect. It's not nearly as smooth as games running in 480p, and I'm looking for something to fix it...

Also, did you try any other "old" consoles (snes, pc engine, etc etc)?

The games played the same 480p was 480p. The native 480p is identical to the upconverted 480p. Nice bright clear picture. I played games that were normally 480i and had them put into 480p and it looked great I thought, but I bought it for the NeoGeo specifically so... I didnt like what I got. The PS3 will naturally play the games in high res so I dont need it now.

It does not seem to work for NES, TG-16, Genesis, Neo-Geo or Amiga CD32. It might work on SNES I honestly cant recall. It does work on 3DO, Phillips CD-i, Sega Saturn, PSOne, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube, and Im assuming it works for Xbox and 360 but I dont buy that so I cant say for sure. I do not yet own a projector yet so I dont know about the motion blur effect.

there, that is the link to what I bought and the place I bought it from. It is like new and cost me about $430 without shiiping included. It turns any Composite/S-Video/or Component into DVI signals and PC signals. It does what it says on thier webpage and Im selling it at a $50 off the MSRP since I openend it and used it for a few hours.

When you used it with your neo were you using the native audio/video out, or were you using a mega mod s-video/component?

What about lag due to upconversion on PS 2 fighters?

I notice some on my HDTV. Do you notice any when upconverting through your scaler?

I was using the older Svideo out to it. I also tried CDZ and it doesnt work either, it only is for 32bit systems and up. 3DO is the oldest system it works with (to the best of my knowledge as Im to lazy to hook up my SNES right now to test)

LAG? Beats me, the picture looks fine and normal when upconverted if you ask me, but I think alot of TVs are different nowdays and you never know what your gonna get unless testing it first. :P I dont know what else to say, you might love it you might hate it, who knows unless you test it out. Thats the only way I found out that it does sorta work with the Neo-Geo but on MY TV it doesnt look good so I say its only compatible with 32bit and up.
