I won a final fantasy 3 box/ff 2 box and manuals and BAM he said he couldn't fine them in his warehouse.

He gave me a refund though, still a bummer. :oh_no:

Those guys suck hard. That is who I am battling currently over the Strikers 1945 boot they sold me.

I have had conversations with 4 year olds that rival that guy's intelligence level.

This guy is a real fucking act here. After posting in this thread earlier, I went to check the status of my Paypal complaint. This is what the asshole replied to my original complaint:

customer made up some story about game tht was not true, regardless we gleefully informed the customer numerous times to return the exact product he received with serial number and seal unbroken along with the artwork that was included for an absolute full refund including freight. We have no idea why he has not done so are becoming suspicious of his motives. We are happy to issue a refund as along as we receive back the same products he was sent. Wholesale Auction

Now he is fucking lying to paypal saying I am making shit up. This guy really pisses me off. I sent him this email a few moments ago:

Look we can go round and round about this stupid Strikers cart forever, it's not going to get us anywhere. I am sorry to say I made nothing up. Everything I provided to Paypal was factual.

You did sell me a bootleg game.

You did advertise it as an original cart.

I refused to send the cart back first, because you might think I swapped the boards out. I can assure you there is no need to be "suspicious" of my "motives". I am simply a collector who feels cheated and lied to.

I am going to let this case drop simply because we cannot come to terms about this whatsoever.

A word of friendly advice though. People that collect Neo Geo games can be really picky when it comes to matters like this. On numerous websites people have started threads in forums complaining about you and your ebay dealings specifically, the fact that you have sold them bootleg carts, and your most recent endeavors selling "NOS ART" that is in fact xerox copied.

Many of us are onto your game and will do anything we can to boycott your sales of unofficial products.

So yeah, fuck that guy. For real.

I think those are the wholesale auctions guys from Raleigh, NC right? Those idiots always peddle their shit at the flea market, and are the most dishonest losers you could possible imagine. They tried to sell me a Contra Force cart only for NES one time for over $100. Morons.

Wow, I almost bought a few art sets from this seller 2 weeks ago. I am glad to learn that he is dishonest.

Currently, wholesale--auction has an awesome NEOGEO HOTEL ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM available. But I don't like the fact that they keep their bidder ID private.

I have no idea how much that will go for. I don't like that fact that there is private id bidding(easy way to jack up the price). But I say bid on it if you like. All I got from him was a fake artset.

Yeah buyrite used to be in raleigh, but they closed their store and online site because the better business bureau shut them down. Wholesale-auction are different people though. The buyrite guys still sell their stuff at the flea market now too, but they actually give good prices on old games.

Oops.
I posted this in the thread about the hotel unit in general discussion without checking here first. Anyway this is just a copy/paste from there:

AARGH!!

The seller sent me an e-mail today with tracking info. The package still doesn't show up on the online tracking site meaning that it was either just dropped off today, or it hasn't been dropped off yet.

FYI the auction ended on AUG 1. I contacted the seller that night informing them that I had to transfer some money into my paypal account the next day to cover the purchase. I informed them that I would make the payment as soon as the funds hit the account. Thet responded with an e-mail reminding me that the auction was for immediate payment only. I was like WTF? After rereading the terms I realized that it did say that and begrudgingly I paid with my credit card.

All would have been well if they had shipped in a timely manner, but it really burns my ass that they couldn't wait an extra 12 hours for my funds to hit and then they take 16 fucking days to ship my package out.

I'm sorry to rant about this, but I just want everyone to know what they are getting into if they buy from these guys.

The really lame part was that I was planning to take the unit with me to OVGE this weekend to let others check it out in person. So much for that!

insanity

They're starting to piss me off now. I won MS 1,2,X, and 3 from them about 2 weeks ago and received them last week. One of them was a boot and I let them know the day after I received it. Well 4 emails and a week later and no reply until this morning when I said I was going to have to take the next step with Ebay's dispute resolution or actually call them up. Here's the reply:

HI

your order shipped day ago you should recive any day . If you do not recive in a day or so please email back . All items , 100 % TESTED PERFECT !

Thanks

thanks

Come on...what the hell. :very_ang: Either they forgot to read all of my emails or they're actually sending me a replacement for the game. But since they haven't said anything about the bootleg, I doubt it. Should have stayed away...but no..I thought it'd be different with me. Anyways, I'll post any updates. But for now, buy beware.

Here's their real email address: auctions958@hotmail.com . Here's the phone number they listed on their ebay profile: 919-559-8868. Here's their mailing address:

P.O. box 61247
Raleigh, NC 27661

I opened up a claim against them and then sent Metal Slug 1 back to them, they haven't given me a refund yet, so hopefully Paypal will give me some resolution.

I never did come to a resolution over my strikers cart with them, they are impossible to deal with. Had I sent the game back like he requested I am sure that he would have claimed the boards were swapped.

Luckily the art set is real, so I have it up in my selling thread to try and recoup some of the money I LOST buying from these turkeys.

they're pissed now

Well I've finally got the upper hand on them. I went through paypal to dispute the claim and warehouse auction told me to return the defective game. So I returned the one defective game out of the four and put the tracking number in paypal. Well Paypal says they decided the claim in my favor and they were refunding the full amount, $115.27. So now I've got 3 games left and I got all my money back. Isn't the seller supposed to check out the merchandise before they tell Paypal that they received the product back? Well now Warehouse auction is screaming at me to fix the situation "immediately." I think I'll be as quick as they were to send me my stuff and to contact me when I had a problem. I also see that Radiac is having major problems getting his stuff too... For future reference, there is no deal good enough to have to deal with their idiocy and ineptness...just stay away.

LOL!

It would be nice to see them get a taste of their own medicine.

As far as my item I think that it is finally on it's way as I now have a tracking number. If anyone deals with them in the future I would recommend talking to them on the phone. (thanks for the number BTW) They are much more responsive when you talk to them personally.

Anyway It's good to hear that you got your money back.

Ok, this old thread HAS to be bumped. I bought a Spriggan Powered Super Famicom game from them off of ebay. I've been wanting this game for a long time. It was listed as mint and complete and had a BIN of $24 shipped, about half the price of other ebay sellers. Now I remembered this thread, but I've had a good transaction with them before, and for the price I just could not resist.

The game arrived yesterday, and to my horror they did not use any packaging at all, just a paper envelope. Of course the box is all bent out of shape. I thought that was the worst I was in for...

When I opened it and looked inside I saw that the cartridge was drilled to fit inside a US Super Nintendo.

I sent them an email saying that I was not happy with the way they shipped my fragile item, and that mint condition means that no one has ever put holes in it with a power tool. I have yet to hear from them. Of course the auction says they are there 24/7 to answer emails, so I wonder if they are avoiding me.

Does anyone have the phone number they can be reached at? I have a feeling that emails won't be answered until I file a paypal claim. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow I'll be left with no choice but to do just that.

For anyone who needs to hear this again...
AVOID WHOLESALE AUCTIONS

edit: Oops, I see that their phone number is already listed in this thread. Well, since I'm editing this post, I'll say it again...
AVOID WHOLESALE AUCTIONS

edit2: If anyone is crazy enough to care, heres the URL to the auction...

And just to drill (no pun intended) the point home:

I just tested the game out for the 1st time, oddly enough, this is the only super famicom cart that doesn't fit into my super nintendo. What a shitty job they did.
