I am selling my Sega Dreamcast system. I had the fan and unit cleaned inside and tested and works perfectly. I am just sticking with the newer system from here on out (including the NEO GEO). The Dreamcast comes with no software, one controller, AV hookups and power cord. The unit is in excellent condition and so is the controller. First $60.00 dollars gets it shipped anywhere in the US. I take paypal only. After tonight it goes up on Ebay.

Hell, id still pay 100 if i had the money for a DC, they're worth it, so thats not my beef.. im just wondering.

bah.. i just answered my own question. Nevermind Gamefan. $60 bucks is a good price.

The only reason why I am asking $60.00 is due to shipping costs. I pack very well and this tends to raise the cost to ship (due to weight). I also tag on insurance when I ship and that too is included in the price.

Yes, but still why from you? I mean, Punjabee has a point. If you can buy them brand new for $50, Sixty dollars isn't a good deal no matter how you pack it. That's what he's saying, I think.

Spike, do you own a Dreamcast? Yeah for you either way. Go out and get one if you do not. Like I said, this is what I am selling mine for, you don't want it then don't offer, understand?

People, how hard is it to read this very simple post? Why must I be bothered by poeple who are only on this message board to bitch? Look, I can see I am wasting my time here. This is now officially my last post with this board. I am tired of seeing what has happened to this message board and I clean my hands of it.

Gamefan, hang on dude! I wasn't trying to be a cock, but the point is we can get one BRAND NEW for cheaper! Yes, the packaging is good, but why pay for packaging when we don't have to and still get a new unit? I wasn't trying to be rude.

I've been making people mad lately, and I don't even mean to.

This is my fault. Sorry about that Gamefan.

200 bucks is still a good deal for the Dreamcast. End of story. PLUS... if you buy it from Gamefan, its more than likely a model that was made PRIOR to Jan 1 2001, so it can play CDs. Meaning, you can make your own boot disc for imports like Capcom Vs SNK 2. You CANNOT tell me that the PS2 version of this game is better. The DC version is way better. And sure, you can get a mod chip for imports. But the chip decreases the lifespan of your DC, and if it burns out, then you can take it to Target for a new one, (its easy, just swap the serial #s) BUT, you cant guarrantee that the NEW dc can play CDs, (for the boot disc)... and finally.. I know its bad, but if you get an older one, you can play burned games very easily on the DC.

Again, $60, is a GOOD deal for this DC.

Don't worry gamefan... $60 shipped ain't bad. Around here you'd be hard pressed to even find a new dreamcast! Just let the criticism go in one ear and out the other!

Spike, don't sweat it, it is not you, I am just tired of how things have been going lately for the video gaming scene. My Dreamcast was made in 1999, August. It has no scratches. I am just not into having "dead" systems. I will always love the NEO GEO and maybe one day, when I can afford it, I will get back into it and video games. Right now I need the money for school and since I have no time to play games, I thought someone here may want a Dreamcast for rather cheap. To tell you the truth, I could not find another one in the bay area at all. I called like seven game shops and no one had it. If anyone feels $60.00 shipped in the US is too much then make an offer.

Cool. I love my Dreamcast to death, I'll tell you that much. There's so many great games that are on it, I can't believe you want to sell it.

Yeah, the ones you get now cannot play CDRs and imports the way the old ones can, so that's cool. Someone will buy it, I'm sure.
