EVERYBODY, SHOW YOUR NEO SPIRIT. IF YOU WANT MORE RELEASES...BUY KOF2001 FROM SHAWN. I CAN'T STAND SEEING ALL OF THOSE NEW GAMES JUST SITTING THERE...WHY THE FUCK DO YOU PEOPLE CALL YOURSELVES FANS IF YOU WONT EVEN BUY A FUCKING HOMECART. I HATE TO BE VULGAR...BUT THIS IS CRAZY... EVERYONE IS LIKE "I WANT MORE HOMECARTS!". BUY THEM IF YOU WANT THEM SO BAD!!!! YOU PEOPLE FUCKING HATE THE NEO...SHAWN IS HELPING US OUT...

BUY FROM THE NEO-STORE

I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT GOOD EXPERIENCE FROM MY TRANSACTIONS WITH SHAWN.

DO SHAWN A FAVOR AND PLEASE DONATE TO THE NEO-STORE. IT IS THE LEAST YOU CAN DO TO KEEP THE SCENE ALIVE.

THE MORE MONEY SHAWN MAKE'S OFF OF THESE ENGLISH RELEASES, THE MORE ENGLISH HOMECARTS WE WILL SEE! GET IT? GOT IT? GOOD!

Um, I think its more important to stick with your word. I've been ordering from NCS since time immemorial, and they've been just as solid a supporter of SNK as you'll find. Cheaper, too. I appreciate what this site does in terms of providing a staging ground for communication in the NG community, but the Neo Store's prices blow ass. Yeah, this is an expensive hobby, it doesn't have to be more so.

I think alot of people got excited when NCS first came out with KOF 2001 and preordered there. But NCS have the Asian-english version, I believe Shawn have the more legitament English version. Even its a $30 dollar difference, its worth it.
I canceled my Preorder with NCS and preordered with Shawn.

I've considered buying from Shawn, especially when it came to the R/F switch cause I can't find one ANYWHERE. $40 is pretty high for me though.. I'm thinking about getting KOF2K1 from him though..

bbrymloo.

The NEOGEO homecart system is not known for his expensive titles only.

A real fan is a fan who has a neogeo for a lot of years, who like titles like aof 2, world heroes, supr sidekicks.a real fan is not obsessed by only EXpensive and RARE titles .
all the titles who MADE the neo reputation are not only metal slug 1.
It's not ninja master or kof 2001 wich make the neo reputation.
It's typical games.

you are not obliged to be rich and buy from the NEO store to be a fan.

stupid guy.
WHY THE FUCK DO YOU PEOPLE CALL YOURSELVES FANS IF YOU WONT EVEN BUY A FUCKING HOMECART

I am so sorry for you that you see neo geo like that.
If you are rich, try to be intelligent.
you will see, it's better to be poor but intelligent , than rich and a sucker.

EVERYBODY, SHOW YOUR NEO SPIRIT. IF YOU WANT MORE RELEASES...BUY KOF2001 FROM SHAWN

What neo SPIRIT are you talking about ???

you are really a sucker

Damn straight. Thanks for voicing my sentiment, Waku7. The most expensive game I have bought is Fatal Fury Special. Only the gaming elite can afford the newer home carts at all. I always keep my head about what's important, and it's not video games.

alright, I didn't meen to sound as if I was calling the average neo-geo gamer a high class citizen. I'm sorry. I still think we should buy from the neo-store. The more money Shawn gets, the more english releases we will see!!!

Oh yeah, and I'm not a sucker...fucker,

There's a lot of confusion in this thread.

Brian seemed to just want people to know KoF2001 is available from the neostore, and that if Shawn starts selling these, future releases will come in English as well.

Games like Blazing Star, Pulstar, etc, never came out on english format because the market "seemed" like it didn't care for english games.

Maybe it's still true. Brylmoo, Chimpmeister, and a few others prefer english, but me and a lot of other people value Japanese more.

So, if you intend to buy KoF 2001 in english, buying it from Shawn will help us obtain future english releases. I guess. I'm still buying the japanese version.

If you don't care for the expensive or rare carts, then this thread is not for you. 2nd class gamer (just kidding)

the more money shawn gets, the bigger his head gets. and you know what happens if it gets too big...his ass will explode.

on a more serious note...shawn doesn't define whether or not english games are made. i'm sure NCS would have enough preorders to warrant future titles.

You know, I have NEVER bought anything JUST because it was rare. I have the Gambit painting by Joe Jusko(series one Marvel Masterpeice) and I didn't get it just because it was the only one, I got it because I used to be the biggest Gambit fan. I believe true gamers are people that play games because they are fun. I do spend more than I should(ask my wife) on games but that is cause they are fun. If I could afford it I would buy Sengoku 3, MS3, Ganryu and KOF 2001, but I, like most people that no longer live at home(i.e. sponge off mom and dad), don't have a free ride through college, or a massive inheritance, have to WORK to support myself and family. I buy games when I can, but not at the expense of a meal. I have nothing against those that have the money to spend buying all those collector's items, it's your money and you have the right to spend it as you wish. I just don't like being told it is MY fault that the Neo is failing because I can't shell out $350+ dollars for EVERY new release. If I could I would, but until I win the lotto I can't.

If it's a fact you can afford to spend $300 on a game for your hobby, then that's "superb." I can't. And I didn't call you a prick.

I have bought from that store at one point.. but 240 for KOF 96 US version was fucking robbery, and yes I was stupid to pay that much for a game made in 96, collectable? Who cares, 240 is a load of dough to blow.

ok.

And the point is?

you don't want to pay $240+ for a new neo geo game?

But for the people that will, should they order from the neostore?

I guess... Only if they like ordering from there. I'm more of a Jap fan.

Are you saying you paid 240 for KoF 96 after 1997?

That would be overpriced.

But you know, kof prices drop all the time. I thought 2000 would be different, but it never works otherwise. KoF game is released, price wobbles up and down, then drops.

look at kof 2001 now.

next year, kof 99 will be steady at/under $150.

Look at kof 98 now.

KoF is not an investment. They are not rare.

And thus, buy kof 2001 from whoever you like as long as you know the price will drop and your "investment" will be the time you put into playing KoF 2001, not the money.

It's not an English Kizuna/Ultimate 11. This one is really just a game.
