First it's my first post on this forum, so hi everybody and thanks to people who made and maintain this forum !
I'm a huge fan of metal slug since a long time, I started to play with Rom (I know it's bad, but when you have no money..), and last month I bough a CMVS with MS1 and MSX too start my collection :drool_2: as I expected its gorgious. As I'm a huge fan of Metal slug ( did I already said it ? :lolz: ) I was loocking MS6 videos and was crying thinking it will never converted onto MVS... And I though that a market still exist for new MvS or AES games. I think that there is a lots of Neo Geo afficionados ready to buy new games, lets imagine a conversion of MS6 onto MVS AES. We can reasonably hypothesyze that 3000 people all over the earth are ready to buy it. Now if we estimate a reasonable ( :lolz: ) price around 300$ it represent 900.000 $. Don't you think like me that SNKP are missing something ?

Apologize for my poor english/american

"afficionados" ? Did you pick the the wrong language in your translator ? :p

Anyway, the Neo is dead, it's simply time to move on. There's no way Atomiswave games are going to get converted to the Neo. At most, a few Atomiswave sprites could get ripped then reused in pirate MVS carts... But the games would be very likely to suck in the end, anyway.

If you don't have that kind of money to spend on a new arcade system, simply buy the console port... That's all.

Welcome to the forum. MS5 will be the last release on mvs hardware and thats not such a bad thing. Atomiswave are flogging a dead horse imho.

I hope you beat the Italians tomorrow BTW- Vive la France

Nope, not a smart business move as there's not enough interest compared to production cost. The actual market is rather poor, and it'd be much smarter to continue with the PS2 port of the game, which would sell a LOT more.

They did make an MS6 bootleg for the MVS but it's just a hacked version of MS5.
Buy an Atomiswave or get it on ps2 when it's released.
