Neo Bomberman opinions please!

I want to buy it simply because I enjoyed blowing up my friends in my college years. Now since I own a 2 slot cab, I have some questions.
Battle mode: Can I play me vs. 3 ai opponents? If so I'm sold on it. Story mode I will beat for the sake of beating. But I want to play the computer at level 9! Also any other opinions and stuff I don't know would help. The review isn't enough I guess.
Maybe where I can get the best price would be helpful?

It's VERY likely that you can play against 3 computer opponents, don't worry about it. That's no "special" option when it comes to a Bomberman game. If you can do 2 human players vs. 2 computers, I'm pretty sure you can do 1 human player vs. 3 computers.

Cosmmico most times has stuff in like new condition and sometimes it comes with the MM and other stuff.

It's a fun game, but the lack of 4 human players really hurts the game (i know it would be impossible to have 4 players). Also theres not many stages to choose from (i think 4?), and you have to work your way up to fight 3 computer opponents - you start off against 1, then 2 then 3, then go on to the next arena against 1, then 2 and so on. Theres no difficulty level to select, but the choice of different bombermen is a plus (each with different abilities). There's also creatures you can ride which I hate, but the glove & kick are in there which are staple bomberman items.

Not sure if it's worth the asking price, I would recommend trying it out on Mame first. I dont play it nearly as much as I thought I would, but I'm still glad I own it. Basically for every up side theres a down side, which makes it an average game, and not the best bomberman by far (that would be super bomberman 2 for snes).

Wow, only 4 battling arenas? That sucks. How long is the single player mode?

Are there any videos of this game in action to show it off? Mind taking some, robot, if you have the game (Or are your impressions just based on a past experience?)?

I haven't played it more than 1nce or 2wice, but I wasn't too impressed. Any bomberman game that can only have 2 players is really missing something. Its cool to play bomberman in an arcade cab though.

Is there any other bomberman arcade game that has 4 players that isn't on neo geo?

Yeah, I need to find the neogeo bois for mame somewheres to test the game out. I am a fan of the TG16 Bomberman 93, 5 players and great levels. They have kick bombs but no punch...

I like the game a lot.....I don't leave the game in the cab much because my Son's crazy about the game and then he won't play anything else.

Anyhow..
I don't see many if any legit copies of this game around so IMO if you can get an original copy for $78.00 go for it..

I paid $100.00 for mine but got stuck with two boots before it..
Would I sell this game,hell no..it's to hard to find..
...


Within this month I had two people asking me where I could get a legit copy of this game.

Isn't shipping at Cosmicco at least $20, and you have to pay PayPal fees? So, that'd bring it to at least $100?

Ya. Just make sure you order more than 1 game. I think its $22 for the 1st game, $33 for the 2nd and 3 or more its $45.

Oh boy, I've been wanting this game for so long and now it may be sold. Looks like you might have some competition for this title from Cosmicco, dcescott :mr_t:

Oh I couldn't buy it right now b/c of my anniversary on monday. It never looks good when I can drop 100 dollars on a game and nothing on the wife. I'll lose that battle anyday.
Get it! I found a working rom and it's very cool. But emulation is a far second to the real deal. Soon it will be mine...

What's it like compared to the other Bomberman games you've tried? How's adventure mode and how limiting is having only 4 battle arenas?

Bomberman on Neo-Geo rules with nicely done sprites and great music and sound fx. The only thing I didnt like about it was unlimited continues so its not like the T-Duo version where you get 3 lives to beat the stage etc.. so the story mode can be beaten in about 1 hour, but, its a fun 1 hour!

The replayability for Solo game is meh really... but I played through it about 7 times (on story mode) to justify its $100 price tag. Its battle modes are very cool though vs the CPU and I like that a whole lot. and VS a friend owns in this Bomberman game I simply love this Neo Bomberman game! If you like Bomberman get this one for sure.

My cart was Japanese MVS with no serials. Great game though, now part of my AES Collection. :)

Did you get any chance to make the video?

How limiting is having only 4 battle arenas?

sorry - didnt get around to making the vids - but seems like those 2 videos show off enough. if your not in a rush, id say hold out for a better price on the game - I got it for $50 shipped on these boards (legit copy).

actually for thier price thats pretty nice! Bootlegs on eBay of this game go for about $65 shipped with fake ass labels. If I didnt already own it I would buy that one in the picture for sure. :) Remember the game is almost 10 years old, so unless you find an unused kit, this is the best you can pretty much get.
