Hi all, I have a 4 slot pcb that has had the back up battery replaced. In another thread MKL mentions that the v2 4 slots have a 3v lithium battery. My pcb which I believe is a v2 has a 3.6v ni-mh battery.
Will this cause any problems? Near the battery the pcb has printed on it GF50B-3SAX, does this refer to the battery type?
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Nah, won't cause any problems at all.

Some CPS3 games, for example, come with 3V batteries. Some other ones, with 3.6V batteries.

I've replaced 3V batteries with 3.6V ones, no problem at all ;-)

Ditto for MVS batteries!
