That is pretty good considering the competition.

Shows that there is still a market for good 2D fighters.

SNKP knew that this was an important home release for them, and put the required time into the port.

Still, 30,000 may have got 6th in the chart, but it isn't a huge figure. No bad for sure, but it needs to have legs in order to get some impressive final sales figures. Good word of mouth should help that, but I doubt it will be in the top 10 next week.

jesus the DS is owning japan like mad, 2 million on some of those handheld games!

I'm not surprised, as KOF 2003 PS2, and the MI series did really well in Japan as well.

I'm sure XI sold like mad in other countries also as KOF does have a large fanbase worlwide.

You win. I bet if I thought for two seconds I could have figured out that the US version probably hasn't even been released... but, I wouldn't want to put that much thought towards a crappy series. :make_fac:

DOES it count? I don't know if these sales rankings look at all the copies that go to import resellers.

Likewise, nothing still even comes close to toppling the DS craze though.
