No battery needed for CPS2 boards?

I heard that you could make it so you wouldnt ever need to change the battery for your CPS2 boards again. I was told all you needed to do was replace the encrypted files with the decrypted ones and you wouldn't need a battery anymore. I have seen boards without batteries and was wondering how they were doing it. Anyone know where I could get this done or how to do it? Would be a big big help so I wouldn't need to worry about it anymore. Thanx.

Raz is a pretty cool guy so I'm sure you will not be bothering him if you ask him to phoenix your board. Since he charges a fee that makes it more unlikely he get pissed.

Ok, just to let people know, Raz is going to charge me 30 EUROS (includes shipping back) for each game I send him. He will want you to remove some eeproms from the board and send them to him. I will be doing it in the near future because I am on the lookout for a SFA3 and SSF2T board right now. I want to get all my boards done at the same time. Thanx.
