At long last japangamesnow.com shipped the item to complete a deal we had.

Hopefully the ower of the store is now back to follow his customers with all the care and the attention he used to have while managing the store.

I apologize for deleting the old thread and thank all the members who posted in and voiced their opinion but it is just more easy and fair now to have a new and updated thread about the situation.

Japangamesnow will be hopefully again a good reference for neo geo players and collectors.

I think you mean owNer, not ower.

I'd like to hear the other side of this story since you were the only person to claim any issue with JapanGamesNow.

There's more than meets the eye here and I think JGN might be a lot more innocent of wrongdoing than you've let on.

And they all lived happily ever after :kekeke:

I had notified Ryan of the original thread and we talked on the phone about it. Ryan wasnt even aware what of what was going on. In all fairness to Ryan, he more than compensated Simone for the transaction. Here is a copy of the email Ryan sent me on June 2nd:

Heya Phillip,

I sent Simone 2 (not one, but 2) Fatal Fury manuals: both Mint-, one Euro, one Dog Tag. I am not sure which he thinks I owed him, so I want ahead and sent both. That is 2 manuals. I also sent them via EMS and also Paypaled him $19 (the cost of a manual) for his "pain and suffering".

That's $19 (manual 1) + $19 (manual 2) + $19 (cash) + $24.25 for the EMS making for $81.25.

I will follow with details later.

What's your phone # again?

Thanx for reading! :)

It seriously looks like FTL jumped the gun on this one.

It just shows that it took more than 3 MONTHS for Japangamesnow to send the manual he owed me(and i send him about $150+value for that manual)

I received the 2 manuals and the $19 as a balance for ignoring my emails for weeks and weeks and making me wait with NO news at all, to complete the deal we agreed upon.

Philip:Ryan has all my emails where I asked him to send my manual and I sent him many emails over the past weeks after I got last promise from him to ship out the next day(never happened of course).

Now I just hope he will be back with the right service that a customer -who has already paid- deserves.

I recommend it. I placed an order but they screwed up (delayed shipment). The owner, Ryan, called me up personally and apologized on the phone. He also gave me FULL refund and did not charge my order. Very good customer service IMO.

You mind if I ask how long ago this was because I will be making a purchase there shortly.

I've not had one problem with Ryan, and I've purchases 95% of my neo stuff from him. But I'm glad he got everything straight now. Even if he has done good business with me, it'd be nice if everyone gets the same.

I have to say I'm having a horrible experience with japangamesnow.com. I bought a Hori Neo Fighting stick in August for $122 shipped. They took over 2 weeks to mail it out to me. I used it a week or so then decided I wanted a different one. I sent it back as it is their policy to give you a refund if you have a "change of heart", minus a 20% restocking fee. That was cool, no problem. The package arrived at their place in mid september. After that it's been an endless series of emails from me to them, with them responding to maybe 1 in 10 of my emails, always saying "we'll send the refund at the end of the week", or "we'll send it tomorrow with tracking". They've sent me nothing. The last mail I got was from Ryan on 11/1, and he said "I'll send the refund tomorrow with tracking". He obviously never sent it and again he's back to ignoring my emails for awhile. This is becoming a real pain. I'd never do business with them again and I'd advise against any of you buying from them. :very_ang:

Still no reply from Ryan at japangamesnow.com in regards to the refund they owe me. I'll keep this bumped every week or so to keep warning people about these bums and hopefully to help get my money back from them which they owe me. If all else fails, perhaps I should take them to Judge Judy?:lolz:
