I'm in the process of trying to find a 1-slot CMVS to get a few games like Rage of the Dragons, PI: Matrimelee, and Garou: MotW; however, I just ran into a post on another site that said some people have had problems with some of these games on 1-slots.

Has anyone else heard about this problem? :help:

Ive also owned a MV-1A , MV-1C, MV-4F. I wouldnt suggest a MV-1C unless you can get it brand new. I dont like the soldered bios on the thing.

thanks guys.

I guess I'll have to spring for a 2-slot if anything at all.

Does anyone know how much a 2-slot Consolized MVS should cost me? Apparently, I've wasted all my time researching the prices for the 1-slots.

It could if you do the solder trick on the Rage board... But yeah, Evoga did a shitty job.

i got a 2 slot to play it on...however, what is the solder trick...i was thinking about putting my 1 slot in for stereo sound...so this would b a little more incentive.

You know, if you can get someone to consolize a MV-1C (1 slot, top loading), you can easily get someone to fit it with a socket to use the unibios on it. And the MV-1C does NOT have any problems playing any games. It's small and compact and is the only top loading 1 slot around. I personally suggest it, but to each his own. And consolized 2 slot will typically run you about $500 from what I have seen.

The 2-slots are much more expensive than the 1-slots. If you can get a 1-slot that will play them, you will save a lot of money over any of the other versions.
