Looking to buy a candy cab, and I was wondering if it is OK to lay these things flat during transport. All I have is a van for transport. Are there any loose pieces inside that could be damaged by laying it on its back?

I've done it twice. No problems whatsoever. I made my little brother hold the thing during transit. I think the companies designed these cabs to last through bombings if they have to...

They were made to be laid on their back during transport, no worries. I suggest laying a blanket out inside the van so it's easy to get it in and out with someone giving a simple tug on the blanket. Strap the cab down as well if you can, usually one strap between the control panel and monitor does the trick just fine.Best of luck!

Ensure everything is bolted in and well secure. Monitor chassis and mobo. I picked up a cab once to find that the lazy arse tech that last worked on it left only gravity holding the CRT in

Transported my New Astro in a rusty old trailer for an hour with no problems, blanket underneath does magical things.
