PSP Mod Chip?

Looks like it will only allow to load old firm in newer PSP's... A bit useless, because what we need is a way to run the newer games in an old firm, or hack the current firm in order to be able to load 100% of the homebrew stuff on it.

Well seeing that with the chip you can just have a custom firmware and run unsigned code (IE downgrader), then you should be able to access the kernel with it, and therefore run all homebrew.

I think the solution is to do it like the Xbox chips.

Bank 1 = Up to date, official firmware
Bank 2 = Old or hacked ones

Eh, maybe theyll do that.

Yea, some sort of switch to allow you to go into different "modes". Oh well, here's hoping for a good solution to the whole ROMS thing.

That would be cool as well, but what I want is to run backups of all games :chimp: . Still it would be better than the current situation.
