I've heard some pretty bad stories from a few friends who have played Lunar DS... and they're pretty ugly.

I wanted to pick it up quite a few times but now that there's another Lunar title coming out for the DS.. I want to know if it's really worth it?

Prices have dropped, and since I'm a hardcore Lunar fan.. how bad can it be?

Please share your thoughts on the subject.. heck, while we're at it. Let's make a contest to see who has the worst comment about Lunar DS (if you can even top what I've already heard) and.. maybe you'll convince me not to buy it :kekeke:.

I would not touch this game with a 10 foot pole.

I loved the Sega CD Lunars - those are some of the most enjojable RPG's ever made IMO, and Working Designs really did nice jobs translating them with a great sense of fun.

It's a damn shame about Lunar DS. A damn shame. :crying:

I heard the bad reviews for the game but I loved lunar so I got it anyway. It's not really that good at all. You do indeed lose health by running. Not by walking though. It's a pain the ass because some of the dungeons are big and your characters are slow as hell. Plus it has that battle system where you have to choose between virtue and courage. One fetches you items and the other fetches you experience points. That is by far the most retarded thing of all. To make money you would take jobs by collecting stuff from enemies. You might have done 30 battles or so to get the items but because you are using the system to get items you don't even get a single experience point.

The game is very very frsutrating at times but if you are truly hardcore for rpgs then you might get into it.

I'n an absolute Lunar fan so I bought this game (USA evrsion quite cheap), but I just don't have the time to play it anyway. I don't think I'll do unless I have to be abroad for a long while and there's no other DS game to play.

BTW, you don't lose health by walking, you do when... running across the screen :oh_no:

PS: Is there another Lunar game coming to DS? :spock:

I just can't find anything about this, other than the Konami game Lunar Knights which should have nothing to do with these series...
