animated sprites

i see alot of people on here with animated avatars, but everytime i try to add mine it says "can not upload animated pictures" am i missing something?

there was a thread back in Suggestions (I think) that mentioned that problem a short while back...try hosting the picture on a site like Imageshack and uploading the image's url into your avatar

hmmm. i hosted one on my own site:

but still isn't working. i wouldn't think the host would make a difference, but you never know.

Must be the anti-hotlink protection. Turn it off if you can figure out how to do it, but be aware that others might and could hotlink from your site, too.
