It's never a good idea to blow on your NES, nor any cartridge because the saliva that spills on the connector causes corrosion and breakdown of the cartridge or 72 pin connector over time, Plus any dust that is already inside the connector smears. The best way to go about that is to get a cleaning kit for the system or at the very least some Q-tips and water to properly remove any dust particles on the cartridge.

I can't seem to get Castlevania 1,2&3 to work on my FC Game Console and I used Q-tips with my cleaning kit but the games still won't play. Can a game genie help them work better and will it work and fit too?.

My other NES games work perfectly though.;)

Oh can I play FC games on my FC Game Console?.

Caslevania 3 isn't compatible with that version, my pt 1 and 2 work fine though. Some games don't work on clones like paperboy, captain planet, maniac mansion etc... If you can't get your pt. 1 and 2 to work try windex and q tips and make sure you use a dry q tip to finish it after your done.

This kills me. Shawn, you had an original NES and you sold it and bought a shitty clone system? That was nuts.

I wonder if I can find an NES top-loader system but I could never find one though.:(

The FC Game Console will have to do for now. ;)

I do like the small controller pads that came with the FC Game console though. I am going to try some more NES games out on it later.;)

You really think so?.:( :)

Yeah, I think it's crazy. Those clones have compatibility problems with nearly 10% of all NES games from what I hear. It's always better to have the original. I've had my original NES since 1987 and it's still going strong.

Did you pay off everyone already?

Is that your game collection and if so it looks really awesome!. What kind of big TV is that with the super nova arcade unit hooked up to it and does the TV suffer from burned in images?.

I could've had a super nova arcade unit a long time ago but my mom's boyfriend convinced me to get a 52 inch Toshiba big screen TV since it was on sale at Fry's Electronics and I had it since 2004 if I remember correctly.

Where did you get that small TV monitor because it would be good for my little nieces and nephews who play my video games with me sometimes. :glee:

You are quite the collector I see?. ;)

Best thing to do is use q-tips and some rubbing alcohol (isoprapyl alcohol). It works great and is the same stuff they use in the cleaing kits.
