I will start of saying I know I am the faulty buyer here. I took the risk of buying a "NON WORKING" CPS2 board....and that is exactly what I got. This is a lesson to others FROM MY OWN $55 MISTAKE: ASK QUESTIONS WHEN TAKING RISKS!

In the auction he shows that he had broke the security seals on the board and in fact inspected the insides, but never bothered to mention that the board was seeping battery acid through the cooling vents. To my disgust I found a really nasty, un-repairable (to my knowledge) mess.

This auction is for a nice used arcade game pcb in non-working condition
If you opened up a board and saw that goddamn mess would you call it "nice used"?

I am not saying don't buy from him.. His shipping was amazingly fast and the packing job was one of the best i've seen. All I am saying is I would take the extra few minutes to question him about any CPS2 board he is selling.

If he opened it up and saw battery acid all over the board he should mention it in his auction. That's not your fault for not questioning him, it's his fault for not mentioning it in the auction. True it was non-working, and he mentioned that, but he was being a dishonest seller by not telling you blatantly important information.

That is if he actually opened up the board and saw it for himself, which I think he did.

He replied to an email I sent him yesterday and was really understanding about the whole thing. He said he hadn't opened it. I guess its just my word against his since the security seals were busted.

He offered half a refund for the problem. I told him to just keep the money but make sure to futher inspect and supply more information to future buyers.

Alot of people buy CPS2 boards (like myself) "broken" assuming that its a quick fix from Razoola.

If you used paypal just file a claim. They always go with the buyer, they have a fuck all policy for sellers even if they aren't at fault.

It's cool, I don't want my money back. I just want him, as an ebay seller who deals often in CPS2 and other arcade stuff, to take the time to inspect things further.

And I want others to not be such an impulsive buying dumbass like me :lolz:

Yeah man this thing committed seppuku or something. Twice I picked up the board and it had liquid on it and never assumed it would be such a "bloody" mess of acid.

That is bullshit I have been given the brokeback mountain treatment from quite a few sellers. Paypal does as little as possible for buyers and sellers. Think before you speak
