Hi there!

I just bought a Blood Bros. jamma pcb and sadly I get no sound out of my cab (it's a 4-slot MVS-U4).

Two things:

1. Any ideas why I am getting no sound with it? It's supposed to have amplified stereo, like Captain America & the Avengers, which has great sound in my cab (??).

2. Does anybody out there have the user´s manual for this thing, or at least the dipswitches? Arcadedocs.com seems to be dead.

I would much appreciate any help or info on this matter, this was one of my favorite games when I was a kid and I was soooo eager to play with it on my cab...:(

Thanks!

My bud, The Chosen One has this PCB so you may want to PM him for the dipswitch settings.

About the sound: does your cab have -5V on the PSU? This game requires it for the sound. If you have an MVS cab, then it won't have the -5V line.

Hey, thanks a lot, Magnaflux.

So not all games need the -5V line? My Captain America & The vengers pcb DOES have sound on the same cab, you know.

And could it be like added or something? Or would then my 4-slot mobo stop working or get burned (alas!)?

Aye, most games do not use it but blood bros. is one of the few that do.

You can add it by putting in some Jamma pins+wires and wiring them to teh PSU.

Your PSU probably has -5V output, you just need a way to get it to the harness.

I think an MVS harness has blanks where the -5 enters it, just grab some pins/jumpers from hardmvs.com and pop them in. Its quite simple, really.

As far as your MVS goes, my sgun is wired -5 and my MVS runs fine on it. I have a few boards that require -5 for video.

As Magna mentioned you have to have the -5 on the cab to get the sound. I'm pretty sure I have the dipswitche setting written down around here somewhere, I'll see if I can dig them out.

Truly a great game, congrats.
