Okay, here's the deal. I won't come out and say what's going on, but unless you're dumb you'll know why. Me and my girlfriend have a sudden change that we just discovered that's about to happen. It's time to change my arcade room into a bedroom... I need to get these REAL REAL REAL nice machines out of there. Every one of these machines have had lots of love and care put into them. All but one has a new monitor, and all of them have brand new buttons, sticks, and even speakers. Not a single one has any problems... not a single one has the original games they came with. These suckers cost me a lot of money, and I will not entertain lowball offers.

Street Fighter 3 third strike. New 25 inch WG monitor, just befofe they went to the 24.8 model. Brand new buttons and a nice English Third Strike kit, battery was just changed just under one year ago. Stereo sound by the use of computer speakers... sounds and looks amazing. $1200

Virtua Fighter Evolution, US. Nice 29 inch high res monitor, speakers in stereo, arguably my best machine as far as condition and cleanliness. This is the N2 cart version. $1200

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, phoenixed us version. This is my "poorest" machine. Brand new official cpo. Original marquee art, but has a little wear. As usual, all new buttons and sticks. Stereo sound, much like it's big brother SF3 TS. Monitor is nice and sharp with almost no burn in... wouldn't hurt to have a cap kit, but monitor still is nice as hell. $750

MvsC2. Finally, the machine I did the most work, personlly, to. This one's got new speakers, mono sound I'm afraid... mostly because of the Naomi hardware in it that I never figured out how to do stereo. 6 month old multi sync monitor by wells garder. 9200, I think? 27 inch... best picture of all my machines, which is like saying "the hottest of the playboy bunnies". BRAND NEW Marvel vs Capcom 2 kit. All offical artwork, buttons... comes with the Capcom I/O. The machine cost me 150. The joysticks cost about $30. The monitor was around $600 total, and the kit was pushing $800. Not to mention some rewiring and all. $1200

All joysticks are competion. All buttons are convex comps except for MvsC2, which I used the concave us style that came with the kit from arcade shock.

I do NOT want to sell, but my life is making a huge shift. I will take offers, but don't go too low or I won't even reply to you. Tell me what you think is fair. Thanks. :(

Oh yes, a few more things: I live in Rockford, IL. Zip code is 61107. Pick up is prefered.

I also have a new Vampire Savior US kit with marquee, move stickers and cpo decals. $150.

I can take any pictures you guys want of anything... just PM me. Wish I didn't have to do this, but it's time to grow up. :annoyed:

It's the issue of killing two birds with one stone. She told me not to sell them, but selling them will give the money for other things. Note I said girlfriend, and not wife....

Bump

Best of luck with all of that. Buy from this guy. If I had the room (and extra dough), I would be picking up that MvC2 machine in an instant.

Sorry to hear that you are parting with your lovely cabs...but from what I'm assuming, you have very good reason for doing so. Congrats!

Its time to get some money  , if i live in the US i would pic 3 of them for me but sending it over to Brasil would cost my first born child and im not willing to trade her as you learn in the near future. Good luck on the sale and in life, it will change a bit but for better. :chimp:

I want to get money for a ring, I need to get a room for the... ahem... baby. I feel that this is the best answer for both of those things. I always thought "I'm the coolest 12 year old on my block" with all the toys I have. I guess now it's time to grow up a bit, and I need to take charge with what's going to happen. I really DON'T want to do this, and she told me to not do it... but I think it shows I'm ready to do what ever it takes to make this work. Stupid? Don't know. I think this needs to be done.

Just wanted to say congrats.

Depends how ya view these things, but I think you're gonna have alot more fun with your new baby than you ever could with any amount of cabs or games. Your life just went +1 imo :buttrock:

good luck with your sale.

Awwww Spike...well, if you're ready for it, congrats.

I'd LOVE to have that Third Strike cab...hot damn.

My inner David Cross is appearing on my shoulder right now, saying...

Dude, you could pay for an abortion if you just sell ONE of them!

I'm telling him to shut up.

I'm pro-choice, but that doesn't mean I'd have the heart to actually ask my girl to get one...it would be her decision.

Again, you seem to be ready for settling down and steering clear of the Kerry Annes of the world...so dig it. I still think you should keep your fave cab of all of those.
You can teach the kid to play.

If you go hardcore gonzo and liquidate all of that stuff, you WILL regret it.

At this point she's begging me to NOT sell these, telling me to wait. Not sure what she thinks we're waiting for. I told her I should get rid of that stuff, she says we can use the guest bedroom for the baby... what to do, what to do.

If they were JPN cabinets, then I would be seriously wanting to buy one, especially the Super Turbo.

Congrats on being a father and hope you might be able to afford an Astro City and have the entire family play at machine.

Who knows, maybe the Wii or other consoles would allow you to download those games or something.

Good luck on your sale and I suggest you go to shoryuken to sell it there as well. I think the SRK crowd would be glad to buy the US cabinets though.

Seems like kind of a mixed blessing at the moment, but congratulations anyway. If she's telling you not to and you want to, then I say do what you will need to know how to do the rest of your life: compromise. Like was said already, I agree, keep the one you know you love the most and sell the rest. Move that cab out of the way and at least you'll still retain some piece of the arcade part of your life. It's absolutely wonderful that she even extended that thought to you, that means that she also worries about the things in life that make you happy. You probably don't need me to tell you, but if that's the way she is then she really is a keeper.

There will be much adjusting to do, but you'll be okay.

Wish I could buy one of those but I'm saving for a wedding myself...

Good luck

Congratulations, Spike! If I had the cash, I'd take that MvC2 off your hands in a heartbeat.

Good luck with your decision.
