I love Hellfire!!!

I just got hold of the 2 player PCB for this wonderful game, the gameplay still feels as fresh as ever. And now I can look forward to some 2 player Hellfire action!!

I played this to death on the Megadrive all those years ago. I Love this game!!! :buttrock:

Anyone else feel the same way?

Yeah Im feeling it too, I still play the Megadrive version, in fact its one of my fave MD shooters. Ive never had chance to play the PCB but I would love to give it a go if I could find it for a good price.

Great minds think alike

I just got the pcb myself off ebay a couple weeks ago for around $60. Plays a little like rtype and I love it so far.

The PCB version is better than the MD version, but only slightly.

There is no smart bomb/laser in the PCB ver. But it has 2 player simultanious play.
Also the controls feel much tighter (maybe because its being played with sticks).

Graphics and music are also a little better. The MD version was probably my fave MD shooter bar Gynoug (I actually didnt like the Thundeforce games too much *SHOCK* *HORROR*).

Ive got Hellfire for my Megadrive and it is an amazing game, but the best MD shmup IMO is Truxton.

Gynoug is my 2nd fave MD shooter I love the bosses, again I still play it to this day which aint bad since I bought it on release.
