Ok.... heres the story...

I bought a Great MVS Neo-Geo 2 Slot Converted Cabinet from Atsui1... Great guy, TERRIBLE at keeping promises, or getting back to you, or anything that makes you want to keep coming to him. Nice, but shady. I'm very aware he has jilted many people on this forum. Anyway, I get this great cabinet, I go home, play it... Fiddle with the Pots... *BZZT*

Shoot, Busted monitor...

So, I take it back and say, Hey, the monitor busted...

He goes... Ok, let me give you another to replace it with...

And he gives me this Monitor, with a big Ugly Metal Chasis and I get it home... have to cut and splice the wires because the molex's didn't fit... And I go to go shut the back of the cabinet... BAM! Hits the chassis, The Chassis was too big to fit in the cabinet, it stuck out a good 2 inches and I couldn't close the back access panel. So.. I go... Whatever... and turn it on.

Doesn't work either...

So this is my Thiiird visit to this guy (Luckily he lived close) And I go.. This is broken too... he goes.. "Blah blah, I'll just put on a new Cap-Kit" I go... Well, Couldn't you do that to the other one so it fits? He goes... "Yeah, I'll do that."

3 Months later and 40 Emails and phonecalls after...

"Yeah, come pick it up."

I go pick it up, I have Re-painted the cabinet, cut the MVS Marquee so it fit, Added a select game button, got Bust a move 2 and Metal Slug 2, Added coin mechs... everything to have this fantastic cab running...

It was the big-Chassis Monitor...

I was so fed up with arguing with this man, I just took it and left.

I plug it in, It works, I adjust the pots, get it riiight where I want... Bingo! Metal Slug 2 is playing swimmingly.

I put in quarters... Begin playing... V.Scan goes out of whack... Adjust... whack... adjust... whack... So... The Capacitors are OBVIOUSLY super sensitive that button pressing and shaking can send it out of jolt... nothing to serious. But I decided to scrap my entire project after that...

That's the backstory to this monitor. Here are the pictures:

--------------

Its an 18" standard arcade monitor.

Only problem with it is that it has sensitive capacitors. They usually wear down after a while, but its just how long you're willing to spend tinkering with them.

This product is ABSOLUTELY FREE. All you pay is shipping. E-mail me for shipping quotes.

There is no Burn in on this monitor.

If there are any other questions, or pictures you would like me to take, I'd be glad to answer them.

--------

You also have a choice of a bent up cardboard bevel for free... (lol) or a Large 1/8th" thick Lexan Cover. Nearly bulletproof.

Pictured here: http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g89/Kevjoarcade/BezelNGlass.jpg

I'm trying to get rid of them in the nicest way.
