Did any of you Ouendan lovers out there catch a peak at this during the Nintendo conference? A clip was played when they started talking about new games for the DS. It looks extremely different from the Japanese version, but the concept is the same. Can't wait to see more on this one as I absolutely loved the Japanese version.

Yeah I saw it in the trailer video they had going. They only showed it for like 2 seconds but I thought it looked like it. Great game though and hopefully it sells well here. I'm just kind of worried about what music they will use in it.

Just read at IGN that this game is actually the sequel to Ouendan and is made by the same team. Man I am pumped for this!

So this is actually a brand new Ouendan game? Not simply a redone westernized version?

Well, depending on the music. The music HAS to be weird & wacky, or it won't work.

I think your surmise is correct. I checked iNiS's website and there's no mention of this Elite Beat Agents, so I think they took the character models and modified them a bit, put in new artwork, probably going to use American pop music, so it's not so much of a sequel, think of it as a localization.
