Memory stick errors?

Ok..I bought a 1 gig memory stick from ebay, and I haven't had any problems with it until recently. I go to play Initial D and I get an error. Not quite sure as to what it says, as my Japanese isn't too great, but I know it's a memory error, as it asks me to make a new game or try again. So I format the memory stick..put the save file back on it..and it works for a bout 3 races. Decided to go eat, come back, get a part upgrade and an error again. Anyone else get this? Is it the memory card? I really don't feel like starting another game in Initial D, as I got pretty far. Only thing I can think of...is I dowloaded a 100% complete save file for Need for Speed Underground..and that is still on my memory stick. Can that be messing it up somehow? Anyone have suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe the MS itself is corrupted?

Try reformatting it in the PC, and if that doesn't work then surely the MS is corrupted.

I've had this problem before and ended up buying a new MS Duo.

I contacted Sony and they raplaced mine for free - you should try that.

I bet you have a bootleg memory stick.
