Pretty sad, really. I beat his Hugo, then was about to beat his Makoto and he dropped. Real obvious drop, too.

Not upset, just real disappointed. I lost far worse to him and never pulled, and he does this. Guys like him make 3S online no fun... expected much more from a guy on neo-geo.com.

I'm sorry to say man, but it's all fair gameplay. If you can't find a way around those techniques, then you're in the wrong game. Hell, if you can't deal with that you're probably not cut out for fighting games. You don't think that all of us have had to deal with turtling ever since SF2 came out? It's a part of the game man. As far as lag goes, he deals with the same lag you do so get over it. Stop giving excuses and have a spine to say you got your ass handed to you.

BTW: I've played against Kunai and he's a good 3S player.

It works well on you, mainly because your game is to take advantage of my aggressiveness and turn it against me. What do you want me to do, play your game only? I learned how to deal with that type of style of gameplay after playing online so much more.

Regardless, there's no excuse on pulling. I beat you fair and square, and you couldn't handle it. Sore loser is what you are.

Kunai is decent, I usually whip him pretty good though. He's nowhere near as good as Wes. Ibuki is much easier to play online, since she has many chain combos, very little recovery, and her moves are tough to parry due to inconsistent timing online.

And it's most certainly not all fair gameplay. Lagging a connection and then exploiting it is bullshit, just like waiting for someone to pick a character and then choosing Gill is bullshit. There are many other holes in 3S online play that I'm pretty fed up with, and none of them have to do with the actual gameplay but rather the exploitation of it due to online nonsense.

So you beat me twice, and now you think you've got me. Do you recall getting whooped the last 30 or so times, before you started lagging your connection and turtling? You don't have to play my game, but I do require that you don't exploit your own shitty connection that you're lagging yourself.

I used to think that there were no excuses for dropping, but the amount of bullshit that people pull on Live is ridiculous, and it has become a huge fucking joke. Personally I don't give a fuck anymore, and neither do most players who are halfway decent.

But then there's you, who chooses to cry and e-bitch about it when you're guilty of abusing the same online system yourself.

So basically you're accusing Kunai of intentionally lagging the game to get some advantage. First, you and I both know that's BS. I've played Kunai many times and he has never intentionally lagged a game. Now, if you have lag because of your location (relative to one another), time you're on, and connection type, that's all part of the game. Second, you both have to deal with the lag. This isn't some uneven playing field where you are lagging behind and he isn't. It works both ways.

See, it's your excuses that are full of holes. You seem to have played 3S enough to know about the online lag issues, but you have never adapted to this? Please, if you can't adapt to online lag, then get out of online gaming period.

That's all you have to do in any match. If you don't like the connection or the playing style of your opponent, leave after the match.

And I seriously doubt he was purposely lagging the connection.

I've run into people in the past that straight schooled me for 10+ matches, then when they finally lose one, they drop. They're probably like "HE DOESN'T DESERVE THAT WIN, HE TURTLED!" or some other such nonsense.

Nah, if my opponent plays Gill, I'm definitely dropping, but thanks for the suggestion. If my opponent lags me and is obviously exploiting it, there's a good chance he'll get dropped.

Dude, accusing me of making the game lag is really ridiculous. When I played you last night, the connection was fine on my side. It was just my XBox online, nothing else was running.

I said I picked you apart in that last series because you play very patternistic, and I knew what to expect on our last series... which is really going to be my last series with you because I don't want to bother with your sour attitude anymore. I never said I was any good, but if you can't handle 2 losses in a row and are going to accuse me of lagging out the connection, you definitely aren't worth playing. I never whined about your style of play when you beat me, when I could have easily said that I couldn't do moves, had a bad connection, whatever.

I didn't whine when you dropped, either... just said I was disappointed that you would do such a thing, because nobody on this forum has done that to me before. I don't think you're really whining either, but you're definitely making it clear that you're a sore loser and a pompous, arrogant ass.

Well, I've read everything and regardless of what happened, I can assure you 100% that Kunai didn't lag the connection. I've played with the guy for years and even chatted with him while playing and know that he hates dealing with lag as much as the next guy.

Sucks that this has to happen on the site, though. You both are good 3s players and for something like this to stop potential future games just sucks.
