AW in Egret Cab

I have a Atomiswave in my Egret cab but I cannot get buttons 1 or 2 to work. I was told that the Egret was ready to run AW straight away and the previous owner used the same AW system I am running; he sold me both as a package.

Buttons 1 and 2 are both set to ON and I cannot get them to function in Test Mode or in gameplay. Does anybody have any ideas?

Jamma connecter might be dirty. Have you tried another pcb in there?

Yes, I have tried MVS, IGS and a couple of boards; all work fine. I was hoping it was a contact issue, as well, but it was not to be.
