Anyone have any thoughts on item 8281362921 - A genuine Slug 1 from a decent seller (in my opinion). Case has a little damage - is it worth the asking price ?

I've never heard of hit-japan selling off bootlegs, but I do know their grading system is rather slack. Their grade B can mean so so condition and Grade A doesn't always mean Mint (which A being their highest grade it should equal to Mint ).

"IF", I was to try to get this from them, I'd first ask for several close up pics of the insert. Lots of glare on the case preventing a really good look at the insert. Probably a few more close ups of the cart and instuctions out of the baggie as well.

The insert is punctured/torn at the back....not to mention the heavy pressure indentations at the top & bottom of the insert.....its worthless.

They do have confidence in that item though.
Mr. Takuya is a good seller when you don't annoy him though.

I couldn't care less, but collectors would shit a steel brick if someone tried to sell them that.

Indeed, such a tear in such a game is a sin.

Oh well, someone tore it. Maybe the emperor owned it, and didn't really see it as more of a privilege than having a SMB/Duck Hunt loose cart. It's still practically as good to me, as long as it's not a conversion. Still worth practically as much. At least the damage is documented in the auction.

Obviously, since the insert is torn, the game is completely unplayable.

LOL... The French will buy it, I'm convinced the French collectors will buy anything.

If I were in the market for those, I probably would have bought that one just as soon as another.
