WTF!?!?! FFIV

So last night I was playing FFIV in my GBMicro and then decided to sleep. Today at work I fire it up only to find that I am no longer in the cave that I spent over an hour in leveling up and scoring up sweet items. I am outside. The game itself set me back like 17 saves (I save so often, especially in Castles and the like).

Now I know for a fact that I saved about 5 times yesterday inside the cave.
(by the way it's the cave you can only enter w/ "Luca's Necklace" in the undergorund Dwarven area)

What pisses me off the most is that I had the very same problem w/ this game for SNES.

Has anyone else had this problem (with this game or any other) and is there any way to fix this? I really do not want to restart my game b/c:
1) I had this problem with it for SNES
2) I'm past this part on my PSX port of this game but my friend has my PSX
3) This is my 3rd time buying/playing this game and I refuse to start over for a 4th time.

Thank you.

So this one time I got hungry.
I had some money so I go to this place called a restaurant.
I exchanged my money for the goods and services of food and service.
I get my plate of food but it's full when I start, and usually empty when I finish.
Now wouldn't it be freaky if I finished and my plate automatically filled back up with food?
That'd be the bee's knees, wouldn't it? It'd be the best plate of food ever! Definately get my money's worth.

So, yeah...I guess I empathise with your problem.
And yes, I did use the phrase "bee's knees."

I'm listening to Bob Dylan songs right now if that makes any difference.

Tootles!

I have over 50 hours on that game and haven't had a problem with the saves. I usually split between two file saves to be safe though, and there are 3 save slots on the cart...
