I was wondering if anyone here has made a reliable switch box to configure their cab buttons? I would like to be able to select the controls from 4 different modes, without having to open my CP and move connectors about.

NG+HNG64 ABC
CDD

CPS2/3 123
456

VF4 EVO PKG
GXX

A/W ABC
DEX (X= not used)

I have been toying with this idea.. (i know the diagram sucks :kekeke: )

I was thinking I could mount a manual VGA 4 way switch box in the base of my cab. and run some Slimline VGA cables up to the CP.

I didn't want to make any permanent changes that could not be easily reversed, so I thought about using Block terminals to connect everything together with. (and I suck at soldering!)

My main concern is will connecting 4 VGA cables to the termin block cause some loss of signal??

Please let me know your thoughts/suggestions on this. :chimp:

well.. microswitches are either closed or open, so I dont think "loss of signal" is going to be a problem ;-)

I mean, that there will be a number of disconnected VGA cables, could this effect the connection to the CP??

Whats with the AW kick harness too? It doesn't use one. The MVS and AW are basically the same so you should try to keep those all together.

i have an I/O adaptor that connects to the CPS1 harness that sorts out my a/w correctly.

I have made a much better diagram now and changed the VGA for D25 cables. The D25 switch box and cables are on order and I should have them soon.

I think that this should work out fine.... :buttrock:
