Need new game what should I get into next

I have been into neo geo mostly for the samurai shodown series but for some reason I am getting alittle burned out playing them so much I need to get a new game. What game kicks @ss that I should get next? I hear alot of hype on metal slug should I go that way? MVS is the system I use by the way.

MS3 is godly.

I love MS5 also, but the consensus seems to be that it's an OK game. The last boss is pretty crappy, but the rest of the game kicks serious ass.

I hear alot about Mark of the Wolf & Marmilee? Are the combo systems bomb on these games if they even have them or can someone tell me why everyone love them? (sorry for the spelling)

Mark of the Wolves has Street Fighter 3rd Strike style animation and graphics. Get that one WAY over Matrimelee.

I'd choose MOTW over every fighter. The only other fighter on the Neo Geo that I'm partial to is Last Blade 2. :D

Hmm.. Get any of the Metal Slugs. I'd get a puzzle game while you're at it. Bust a move or Magical drop 2/3 should do nicely.

I guess it depends on what type of game you want next, if you want another fighting game thats different then why not try Waku Waku 7.

Heres a few games that i would recommend. If theres any games that you like the sound of then have a read of some of the reviews before you make a purchace, as they should help you out.

Shump
Blazing Star
Metal Slug - any, i like them all but may be best to start with the fist one
Pulstar
Shock Troopers / 2 - both are great
Strikers 1945 Plus

Puzzle
Magical Drop 3 - its better that 2 but 2 is still a great game
Money Puzzle Exchanger
Puzzle Bobble / 2 ( BAM)

Fighting
KOF - any really but 98 and 02 are my faves
Garou Mark of the wolves
Last Blade / 2 both are great
Matrimelee
Real Bout - I like em all
Waku Waku 7

Sport
Neo Turf Masters - im not a fan of sports games but this is great

I agree with all of the other chaps who said the Metal Slug Series and Shock Troopers as well. They are a must have. Metal Slug 4 is far from being the best of the Series but is easy to obtain and usually cheap. In fact Arcade Shock has Metal Slug 4 Complete Kits for around $60.00.
