KOF DS Confirmed by Falcoon

I didn t know there was even a rumor of KOF DS ... anyway, i guess we ll see these details at E3 (the only near-future event worth mentioning...)

At the recent MMBB Online Game Festa, a King of fighters tournament and demo event held by Online service provider KDDI on 4/22 in Tokyo, KOF series producer Falcoon announced that details on a DS version of King of Fighters would be announced in the near future.

As long as the game runs at full-speed, it should be ok...

Maybe they'll get creative and use the touch-screen to bust-out weapons, and we'll end up with some sort of Smash Brothers-esque KoF with chibi-style sprites.

It could be cool, especially if it's online. :drool:

I guess they will be rehashes of those present in GBA KOF episodes ... that s the SNKP way. I loved KOF98 on PSP via emulation, they could do as well on the DS but i think we ll see sub-par graphics here.

Anyway, as long as it plays fine and offers some extras, we should be happy i guess (the Fatal Fury or AoF minigames would fit nicely -tap tap tap tap tap the screen :P -)

I didn't like bleach that much. Even if it was made by Treasure. It reminded me of Guilty Gear Isuka. Which I though was pretty cruddy. And the character design was really lacking. Like half the fighters wore black or white. I guess thats how the show is, But still it was pretty bland.

I wonder how KOF: D S would use the second touch screen?

if it's a classic KoF i'd be really excited. Bleach DS has WiFi play and you can play people around the world. I've played japanese players at Bleach ds in my basement. If the same is done with KoF we could throw down WiFi Kof matches. That'd be awesome

I hope is not like Guilty Gear DS, that game sucks a lot IMO. Bleach DS was great thought.
