Besides what you already have (some of my choices), I'd recommend: Match of the Millenium, Neo Turf Masters, Fatal Fury: First Contact, Last Blade, Samurai Shodown 2, and Puzzle Bobble Mini.
CARD FIGHTERS CLASH!!!!
Best game(s) on the system. There are 2 versions of it, but its kind of like Pokemon, in that you only really need one version to enjoy it.

Metal Slug 1st Mission (not as good as 2nd though)
I hear Faselai!, Last Blade, Dark Arms and Biomotor Unitron were pretty cool, but I never played them.

I don't know anything about Mahjong, but the magical drop version for NGPC left me a little empty, I mean the mechanincs are there, and that's cool!, but the game itself isnot colorfull enough, I mean look at bust-a-move, and compare.BIG said:
All the puzzle games except for Bust-A-Move are very pale in colors, gameplay remains awsome though.
For me the best games in the NGPC, have to be the Card Fighters Series, both are awsome! after that here's a list.

There are so many more, but I think these are the best ones in no particular order, but if you ask me Fatal Fury 1st Contact is easy to find and plays like Real Bout without the lane switch (unfortunately), but is fantastic nonetheless.

the good to bad game ratio on the NGPC is better than any existing system, handheld or not, in my opinion. I mean, almost ANYTHING on that system is good.
If you like baseball, you'll like the baseball games.
If you like RPGs, you'll love FASELEI! and Biomotor Unitron and CFC
If you like fighters, you have a great library to choose from

my favorites are Picture Puzzle and Ganbare Neo Poke-kun. Dark Arms and Shanghai Mini are pretty cool too...
I didn't care for the Metal Slugs, Crush Roller, Pocket Tennis or Card Fighters Clash for that matter. As Slugs go, I prefer the the AES/MVS versions. I couldn't get into CFC, but almost everyone swears by it, so it's probably worth checking out.
But yeah, other than the casino games, most of the NGPC games are good to really good. No Barbie Horse Adventures to be found...

This is pretty much true--I honestly can't think of a single *bad* game for the NGPC. Hell, I can't think of a mind-blowingly average title either. Most of the games are above average to really good, and then there's a couple "my sex fell out" good.topher said:

Match of the millenium was great too, and had a lot to unlock. I personaly loved Samurai Spirits too (can t remember which version i owned).
