Why is it that the case insert looks so differnt in the 2 pictures. I am talking about the one with just the case and then the one with the case and the front of the cart.

The colors are just so much differnt

Hong Kong certainly has many dishonest sellers. Why would he give it up at such a long price for such a valuable cart. There is a shop in Golden Centre, Hong Kong (that place is famous for computer & video games) selling an original Metal Slug 1 at $1,300 USD. If the cart is real, this seller "homewest79" will sure bid-shill it at the last moment.

Cart sticker screams conversion. The Neo Geo logo has a white rim around it that the original does not, the Metal Slug title text is smaller than the original and the graphic behind is so larger.

Can eBay get you for misrepresenting an item in a way which would make people pay $200 too much?

Yes, hong kong sellers are very dishonest person, I was the one who won the auction for the game of metal slug, after I won the seller did not respond back to me for a couple of days, after I told him that I was going to contact ebay, and leave a bad feedback, then he answered to me saying that had lost the box and manual that If I wanted the game he was going to charge me only 200 hundred pounds, which I think if I would have accepted probably he was going to send me a fake copy watch out with those people, the good thing is that he was reported to ebay.

Lucky that you did not pay for the item. It's funny that he said "IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (STILL HAVE A TRANSPARENT PLASTIC PROTECT BAG),JAPANESE VERSION, 100% original ,PRETECT BOXED AND HAVE MANUAL( NO FOLD AND NO DIRT)" but ended up with a cart only.

I still do not know if the game was original or not, I just know that he did not want to sell the game, well I do not know but maybe he did not want to sell it because the price was so low, the good thing is that I did not pay for it, but watch out with these people now on these days everyone can make labels, boxes and everything that looks excactely the same as the original, but everyone be careful, people overseas can rip u off real easily!!!!

It's a VERY good thing that you didn't pay. Look at the pictures in that auction. Isn't it strange how some of the photos are taken on a cloth bed, but others are on a completely different hard surface? And the cart sticker doesn't match the real thing at all.

It's a 100% scammer, and I'm glad to see he failed. Nice job!

Yes, that was the good thing that I did not pay for it, it's a good point that some photos were taken on a cloth bed and others on a completely different hard surface, we all have to be careful for these scammers!!!!!
