some quick/basic MVS questions...

So I just consolized my MV-1H and I was wondering how exactly do I wire the coin counter? do I just put a switch to connect pin 16 and ground? I know it's probably obvious but I want to be as cautious as possible with my new MVS.

Also, is there anyway to do a hardware test without a game cart?

and does anyone know how much amperage the MVS consumes? Some manuals say 5v @ 7A which is INSANE, I think it must be much less...

I don't know about a 1-slot consuming that much; I'm sure a 4- or 6-slot will tho. They're probably just being safe though, as in "this is what you should have to be absolutely sure nothing fries".

These are pretty easy questions for anyone who has consolized/made a supergun. But I'm a n00b neo geo owner so I was hoping someone could help me out here...
