RE: Matsu update!

Hey everybody, I'm just posting to let everyone know what Matsu currently has in stock.

8 cyberleads left (med/low res) - $500
4 astro-city machines - $350
6 aero-city machines - $250

he also has 3 "skill stop" slot machines for sale that, I think are new... if they're not new, then they where VERY well taken care of. - $250

pictures of the cabs cab be seen on his website http://www.jpdeal.com/ (he hasn't updated in about a month, so some of the machines are sold already, but the ones he has left are also still up)
if you have any questions, or would like to buy, give hime an email directly at gamemachine2003@hotmail.com

Do you happen to know which Aero's he has in stock. I am looking at #1 and #6 which i really like but fear are already gone.

I plan to send Matsu and email but i was hoping you knew since last time I sent an email he never got back to me :(

Also does anyone know what the shipping usually runs I would hate to spend 400+ on shipping,

Thanks for any and all info.

since he has 6 left, that means he's only sold off 3, so chances are that one of the two that you want is still available... shipping, I'd expect to pay $200-$300... it blows goats, but it must be done unless you want to take a roadtrip.

just an update mastu got back to me. the prices went up on the aeros :(

1. Atomiswave $1,750 (2 player control panel)
2. Atomiswave $1,500 (1 player control panel)
3. New Astro City $475
4. Cyber Lead $500
5. Aero City $350 (2 player control panel)

seems like no aero for me now if anything the cyberleads seem like a much better value now. A much newer cab for only 150 more!

Anyone like the Cyber leads?

That is a standard jamma cab right? I can just through a neo or other jamma board right in and be good to go?

I have 2 cyberleads, and they're GREAT! They are not jamma though, they are jvs (which alot of the newer systems run on (namco, sega, etc...).

how much does he usually sell a high res cyber lead for, if he ever gets any.

and how hard it is to get jamma to work in a cyber lead cab?

I think he'd sell the high res cyberleads for $700 (which was the price he had set when he thought his current stock was high res). in order to get it to run jamma, you'd either need a jvs-jamma adapter, or you'd need to re-wire all your buttons and make adapters for rca audio, 15pin dsub video, and jst power connectors. I'm not sure if Matsu has any jvs-jamma converters or not. I havn't seen any jvs to jamma converters... most go the other way, but I havn't looked very hard either since I've just been running jvs stuff in there anyways (naomi, tekken 3). I can't imagine they'd be too expensive.

Will Matsu have a new shipment in by May? I will be moving into my new home and I will be in the market for a Candy cab.

$250 extra for a 2 player panel? :shame:
they are egret 3 control panels, not just some peice of sheet metal that he drilled himself...The old astro city panels go for at least $150. They are also fully occupied. If you don't like it, buy a 1p one, and make your own 2p one.

The only different between an astro panel and egret 3 panel is the rounded edges and graphics. Period. I'm sure Matsu had to pay extra to import these as well...just sucks that the price is jacked up only for the scarcity.

I'm sure the price is higher for the egret 3 panels than the astro city panels, if for no other reason, than the fact that they're so much more new.

Atomiswave cabs come standard with a 1player cp. Matsu only offers the 2player cp as an option. $250 is alot $$ for a cp, but not that much if you can afford this cab to begin with. The panel is brand new and it comes stocked with new Sanwa parts, and the propper 2player wiring harness.

Go and order a fully loaded 2P 6 button Egret 3 CP from Taito and see if you can get it for under $250 all in. You won't.

I just ordered and sent out payment for a Cyberlead today.

Matsu is doing the Jamma wiring for me at no extra charge too!

I am very excited these cabs look in great condition and a great price.

I will post pics when it arrives with impressions!

Holy crap, my dad doesn't mind if i spend money on a cabinet if I run it off of the basement.

I wonder if the prices to ship to East Prospect area Pennsylvania is worth the cost of $200 or so but that is the price of half the cabinet itself (for an Astro City or Candy)?

I just want to run older Jamma based games since I have an MVS mobo and little room to contain my supergun on a crowded setup.

I recall there was a Pennsylvania seller nearbye, so that is more feasible.

I drive a 2006 non hatchback Civic and I wouldn't mind a local drive to pick it up.

If the cabinent is atainable, I wouldn't mind wiring my Japanese Playstation 2 to it so I can play all of my favorite fighting games on it as well.

Thank you in advance.
