Game name found ... Thanks 3xChaos

If I am correct, the game was out in the early to mid 80s. It was a horizontal game like commando. Instead of a soldier, you were a viking/norseman character. Your characters weapons was a sword which he threw across the screen. I vaguely remember there being a viking ship that that either brought you into the beginning of a level and was also a power up during the level. I know this isnt the best description .. but it's all I remember from many many years ago.

Thanks ..but it wasnt Asterix .... However, I wouldnt mind playing that game either. This game was really basic looking. I think it was made by Sega or Atari. I have only seen the game in one location .... and that was years ago.

Commando was vertical not horizontal. Maybe Mister Viking?

Michael,

You're right. I was thinking VERTICLE and typed horizontal. That is the game though, thanks. I just got my XBOX modded so now I am going to see if it's in there. There's so much stuff in the BOX it would take forever to go through all of the stuff.
