Hello folks.

Anyone here who could sell me a "nice price" original SNK AES power supply ?
Jap/English Model (for older AES models i think) with 5Volts / 3Amps - can be broken - i just would need it for a mod.
Ordering one at the neostore would be my last opportunity, if just that would be the only way to get one...

And i am looking for a empty original modern style snaplock game case.

Does somebody perhaps know where to get that sexy SNK AES carrying bag , from which i saw pictures on the internet ??

Thanks for any help
Regards

FYI, the power supplies for sale at the neostore are not original.

I have a euro AES system in the 50K serial range & use a generic sega genesis PSU I picked up from ebay, works perfectly. You might be able to do the same.

as for snaplock cases - they sometimes have them at japangamesnow.com

Hey !

Thanks for the infos, they are really not original... weird ... i must have overseen the neogeocom sticker..

Well i already use a self modified third party psu , but the power plug fits not 100% like the original one, so i sometimes have resets or funny stuff like that..

I also got a stepdown converter borrowed from a friend so i can use my original neo geo jap power supply, but i want to have a small euro conform psu with the original power plug (which i would solder onto it when i get a second AES psu)

I dont want to kill my original PSU , so i would buy a second one.

Please remove the idea that the official SNK power supplies have a proprietary plug: the correct size is 2.1mm (internal) x 5.5mm (external) which is a standard size that you can find on power supplies from any manufacturer. If the one you're using is a bit loose it's probably because it's 5.0mm instead of 5.5mm, a less common but still used size.

A = 2.1mm
B = 5.5mm
C = 10mm (or more)

I only use third party power supplies and they fit AES sockets perfectly.
