6 slots-select game button doesn't work

Hi my fellow Neo Geo gamers (who invested way too much money on this form of entertainment),

I have a 2-slot cab and recently purchased a 6-slot board. Everything works great on the 2-slot, but when I switch to the 6-slot board the Select Game button doesn't work. I am a plug and play kindda guy, who knew very little about the technical stuff. I don't think its the dip switch or the unibios. please show me otherwise. Or perhaps it could be a defected board.

Is "Game Select" set to "Free" in the BIOS's soft dips? Try putting a coin in and switching games, if you didn't already.

You could select on the two slot, so its wired correctly ??

Try to clean the pinouts of the 6 slot motherboard it might solve the problem. Perhaps the contact is not ok between the connector.

Does the cab rotate through the games in attract mode? If so, it is not the contacts of the game/mobo, you are just not wired correctly or your select button microswitch could be bad.

I did some cleaning and it is perfect now. thanks everybody for your imput
