XBox Live Fighting Game Stats?

I was interested in picking up an XBox to play some fighting games online. I was just curious about how many people are playing any game at one time, kindof like the stats at Gamespy.com which lists the amount of people playing certain PC and PS2 games. If people could list the number of players in a room at a given time that would be great. Plus if you could list the number of peak time players (7-10 PM) and non peak time players (during the day, late at night) that would be nice as well. Here are the fighting games that I know of and are US releases:

Street Fighter Anniversary
Capcom vs SNK 2 EO
Capcom Fighting Evolution
Guilty Gear X2
Samurai Shodown 5
King of Fighters 02/03
SNK vs Capcom: Chaos
King of Fighters: Maximum Impact
Dead or Alive Ultimate
Dead or Alive 4 (XBox 360)

I think that that's about all of them. Thanks for your help.

For SFAC, peak times seem to be around 8-10, and there are usually 3-5 players waiting when I log on. But there are also players on my friends list that show up, and play lag-free.

Last time I played XBOX live was when CVS2 came out. The lag was so horrible I sold the XBOX and all my games (except panzer dragoon which I keep to play on other people boxes)
they may have improved fighting game online compatability since then, but CVS2 was so horrid it will be a long time before I try to play fighters online again. Basically someone will have to show me its cool on their xbox and that the games are at least playable.

Also, everyone on LIVE sucked so much at Street Fighter that it actually was more challanging to face the CPU. There may be better players now, but I would guess its nothing like real arcade competition if thats what you were hoping for. XBOX live is kind of like beating up on your friends, except the people your fighting are not your friends.

If you get a box just to play fighters online, good luck!

Wow! Only 3-5 and peak 8-10 for Street Fighter Anniversary? I thought MK: Deception for PS2 was fairly dead at about 8-10 and peak 15-20.

theres really no lobby so you cant tell how many people are playing you only see the people who posted a public game..no the ones playing or the ones hosting a friends only game im sure the number is much higher as theres always 5-6 people online just on my friends list..at just about any time

basically you can find a match at any given time in third strike

alot more dificult in hyper

thats all ive really played though..ive tried other games here and there but never stuck with em...so i only really know of 3s

it plays very well online...after a few hours you wont notice any lag at all in good circumstances

and if you dont frequent the arcade scene...its alot better than nothing

So you only see posted games? There's no way to see the all the inactive users who are just chatting or waiting for a game? In MK: Deception you can see the names of people, and you can challenge each one of them individually.

I wouldn't count the people who are in game since they are already playing. Just the people in the lobby of a game or publically posted games, in this case.

yeah the xbox live fighters dont really have much of a lobby system.
basically you only see the games u can join and nothing else its very bare bones.

well aparently doa ultimate has some more interesting features....to bad the game couldent be less interesting :)

so mkd has a scene huh....insane...but i guess mk always did have more mainstream apeal

MKD has, what I considered, a small group of people playing it online for PS2. Sounds like it has more people than some of these XBox fighters. I really thought people who were into fighters just played on XBox Live since XBox is considered the king of online for consoles.
