Anyway, I to am from Australia... Sydney to be exact and own a few Japanese cabinets as well. Good to see more locals buying cabinets... and Japanese cabinets to.
There are many Australians on this board. I know of about 50+ that I have seen here so far over the years.

I used to live in Perth, Australia too. Been there for at least 5 years, good times.
I really miss it down there...
I've always wanted a cab back there, but those days getting a cab is almost impossible so I ended up with an AES instead.
But now I'm happy to net myself a New Astro, thanks in part to lachlan's useful information!

Yeah i joined a fair while back when i first got my cab, but have mostly just browsed around and not posted.
Now ive fallen into a more secure job i think its time to waste some more money on another cabinet or two
im also thinking of getting a new astro city or an ok baby
my local dealer says he can do either with a brand new nanao monitor for $1200
both cabinets are in excellent condition, does this seem way to high to you guys?
hes got the atomiswave cabinets but they are only one player, and to ship a new control panel etc hes wanting close to $2000 which is just insane imo

Welcome waks! 
I know of Zax in Melb and Highway in Syd, even if the freight is a killer it's still worth every penny for an Astro City.
