Hi I've been meaning to sell these for quite some time now, but have just never gotten around to doing it. I have many (way too many to count... somewhere in the multiple thousands) starwars ccg cards. This collection has NOT been picked through, and still has all the rare cards that I got way back when. I also have complete card lists of cloud city, hoth, dagobah, and Jabba's palace. I'm not really sure what these go for anymore, but if I don't get anything except offers for 1/10th what I put into this collection, I might as well just keep it. On the other hand, if this goes for a good price, I'll throw in some freebie starwars and card stuff (a box full of card sleeves and cases, young jedi cards, old school sw (non-game) cards, etc...I'm also including with this collection, the two anthology boxes (which still have the outer sleeves and the pamphlet for the first anthology), and the woden card box that I made in shop class a long time ago:loco:. enough chit-chat, here's some pics taken with a crappy camera (sorry, it's all I have at hand).

Anyone who would like to know the condition of this collection is welcome to take a look at it before purchasing, or I'm willing to let a third party rate this collection. I would say it's very near mint to mint condition (except for the boxes and a few of the rule books). I have many rare cards in this collection including Luke Skywalker: Jedi Knight, foil, and non-foil Yoda, TK-422 (Han in stormtrooper gear *card looks like dark side card from the front*) and many, many more. PM or email me to strike a deal, or for more info.

Hey, just letting you know it looks like ou have a pretty good collection, but if you're really going for big bucks, #1: It's hard to as the game is now defunct and #2: I would catalog most (if not all) of your rares and maybe some good uncommons to peak interest. I had been inot the games for years, but sold them because my move. I sold off my entire collection of Star Wars CCG (around 3,000 + cards give or take a few) and they went for around $150 or so. Yea, it's not what I put in to it, but my box of rares and all my good decks was lost (or more likely stolen) awhile back so I didn't have all of my best cards. Most folks who collect these are looking for Limited Premiere raes and such. Premiere was hard to find even 2 years after the card game debuted and now they are harder then ever, so get to cataloging. Who knows, I might even buy them off of you if you have enough good stuff. Best of luck.

I don't have time to do that. It'd take weeks to catalogue them all. I already have them all organized by type and in alphabetical order... it's much easier for people to ask me if I have a card (or some number of cards), then go look for it.

Yea I hear you about not wanting to catalog everything, but these dyas most collectors don't deal in one, ten, or even a hundred cards. These guys buy them up in bulk. These guys aren't interested in buying random unknown commons and uncmommons, they want to know what they are getting (rares etc.) So, like I said, don't even worry about commons and uncommons, just flip through your collection real uick and look for all the super rare cards.

Trust me, if you want to get the buyers out there to buy up all the crappy commons with the rest of the good stuff, you have to give them some good stuff to make the deal sweeter. This way your cards will go for more and you'll get a better deal out of it. Otherwise if you just list on ebay "5,000 + Star Wars CCG cards for auction" it leaves buyers wondering if it's 4,500 commons and uncommons with 500 rares, or all 5,000 just crappy commons. If your collection is too big to count up rares or you just don't have the time, then I guess go with plan B. I'm not sure you'll get as much for them, but that's all I can tell you.

To be perfectly honest, I don't even know what's rare anymore:annoyed:... All I know is what was hard for me to get... The hardest card for me to get was a death star that I traded for because I couldn't get one for the life of me (I think I traded one of my three yodas for it [which was supposedly at the time WAY more rare]). I don't even know where to find a list of the more looked for cards.

Well, here's a link to a list of every card made for the Star Wars CCG categorized in card sets and in alphabetical order in each set. It also give rarity of each card (as a general idea of worth). R = Rare, U = Uncommon, and C = Common. The lower the number next to the R,C, or U, the more rare the card is (ex. Darth Vader in Premiere is a 'R1'). If you don't want to do all that, what are you wanting to sell them for?

well, I was hoping for something in the $500 range, seeing as this is a collection that has never seen ebay, and has only had maybe 5 cards traded (for other rare cards, and never one of the non-doubles, so this collection is most likelly much more full of rares and variety than the ones recently completed on ebay by the guys who just buy up collections, and sell the best cards then list a lot of 10000+ card collection of all the same 10 cards! I also looked at some of the past listings that sold, and found that a few of the cards that I had went for $30+ each (some of which I have multiple copies of) (one was the luke skywalker: jedi knight, another was imperial class star destroyer, or something like that, and flagship executor) I also only have the older sets (which I would think are more rare than the post-episode 1 cards). Many of the cards I have are from the more expensive sets (a new hope, dagobah, etc... ) I also have more foils than any collection on the completed listings on ebay. So, I think that $500 is a very fair price to ask in comparison to the recent ebay listings that went for more.

Well, then if you're looking for that kind of money, I would go the ebay route and spend that extra time knowing what you have. I mean even a day of cataloging this stuff (while sucky) will give you, and your perspective buyers, an idea of what you have. If you really want to capitalize on the fact that collection isn't the same "10,000 double cards" that are all over ebay, then go all out. As a collector, I (and all other serious collectors) like to know what they are getting. Like you said, you see a lot of crappy listings on ebay go for $500 at least and they just have mundane common crap. So set yourself apart and it will be worth it. Once you know all the good cards you have, then you will be able to get the full worth out of your cards instead of second guessing yourself and regretting it later.
